1. I think you lack reading comprehension skill here. I'm saying "It's a dating show" as a reason why he is allowed to explore connections with different girls at the same time btw and thats it. But also, he is just another human being in that house facing things he never did before or ever would in the outside world, yes you can judge him all you want thats the game but i'm just trying to offer a different insight of trying to understand where he came from just in case somebody is also open to it. (Also to let people know not to trust the editing of the production team too much). I've always watched dating shows as a purpose of trying to understand how human beings act, not to only judge them, and i believe there is someone out there who is just the same. If its not for you, thats okay too.

The couples from S2 and S6 explicitly said their scenes were manipulated, its not news to those who have watched the show closely. One of the example was the one i mentioned on my original post where the show tried to edit it as if yuan was following lechen to see ailin when in fact she was the first one who was looking for ailin (ep 2). So yeah, i have seen first hand how the show editing could really manipulate "someone's vibe". 1. I'm so sorry but if you have this mindset, i don't think you should be watching a dating show. Like is this your first time with a show like this? None of them are "dating" yet especially when its just their first week there. No one owns anyone. Its perfectly fine to explore both connections at the same time, both Ailin and Yuan are great people but the time is limited for Lechen. It's completely different from real life. No need to focus on one person from the get go, it is a DATING SHOW. NOT REAL LIFE. Exploring is literally has been a concept in a dating show since forever.

i saw a comment saying lechen and ailin was mutual approach while yuan only give and lechen receive. but this is wrong. the show only let you see his interactions with ailin but lechen was also interacting with yuan (wang jue literally said she noticed that lechen's priorities were yuan & ailin + ruilong guessed leyuan would be the first to go on the trial love trip ALL on ep 2).
the production team was just hiding lechen & yuan interaction and packaging it for BTS clips and voting poll benefit clips. (blame the production team, they did the same thing with that couple from S6) its so unfortunate because most viewers dont watch those which lead to people misjudging lechen.
remember how they edited it as if yuan was following lechen to find ailin when she is actually the first one to seek ailin but thankfully the netizens noticed so the show have to release the unedited version to appease the backlash? yeah this showed the production team's intention clearly. they highlighted lechen's interaction with ailin while downplaying his and yuan's for the "shock value" when he did finally choose yuan.
also about the whole not going down for walking the dog. i need people to realize, we don't really know how long ailin was waiting, its possible lechen wanted to let jiao go and tell her but he is yet to come to the decision on how it should be said before ailin came up first.
the show would only let you see what they wanted you to see. i would suggest restraining oneself from judging ANY contestant too harshly based on a heavily edited show which has time and time again proved they just wanted to create drama for traffics in regards of the casts' well-being.

Sei & Hagiwara starts hanging out together again but never just the two of them. They always asked Adachi (their co-worker) to third-wheel lol
One day while eating out tgt, Adachi told Hagiwara that Sei's new house is quite an old building and that Sei needs help with the renovation. At first, Hagiwara & Sei are hesitant since both of them are wary about being alone with only the two of them (oh they know something might escalates way too quickly if so lol) but at the end Hagiwara still offered to help and Sei shyly agrees.
They agreed to have Hagiwara visit Sei's house on Saturday through e-mail. Hagiwara deliberately lied that he has to see his parents on Sunday so Sei wouldn't worry that he would stay overnight (...since something might happen).
Hagiwara is just so...adorable. So considerate. He was so excited about exchanging emails with Sei. His hearts flutters even with a simple email. Yet, he wasn't sure what to do. He only knows he likes Sei but he doesn't know how Sei feels. He doesn't know whether Sei wants more like he does or just wants to go back to their previous 'casual' relationship. He thinks to himself that Sei probably needs more time and it's better for him to move slowly.

When Hagiwara was on his way to Sei's new house, he bought a whole watermelon. Sei was surprised (and confused? like who would eat them all? but later it would be used as the 'lame' excuse for Hagiwara to stay overnight so he can help Sei finish them all lol).
Since Sei just moved, he doesn't even have a big enough vessel to store the watermelon (it was too big for the fridge) so he and Hagiwara ended up going out to buy a basin to put it in. When they were on their way back after getting basin/tray, it started raining. They both ended up using the tray to shield themselves from the rain instead lolol
Then while they are both hiding themselves under the tray, Hagiwara stole a kiss from Sei and confesses his feelings for him. Sei didn't hear it over the sound of the pouring rain but he could guess from reading Hagiwara's lips movement. After that, Sei put his forehead on Hagiwara's shoulder and said,
"I thought it didn't matter anymore now." "I thought if I let it you have a cool down period to a certain extent, you might think that your feelings for me are nothing special...."
Which Hagiwara replied, "Impossible."
And they went back home. Hagiwara stripped down then threw his rain-wet clothes in the dryer, Sei waited sitting on his bed. They started kissing.
And you can guess what happened afterwards ;)
Also, Hagiwara asked Sei for the answer to his confession earlier—right after they both just reached c****x (yes, Hagiwara is gentle yet a menace at the same time)
Sei: "You want me to answer now?"
Hagiwara: "It’ll be hard to refuse now."

At first, Sei thought Hagiwara might have broken up with Kaori but there's also the possibility that they are about to get married and are moving to a bigger house.
Sei confirmed his doubt after Adachi (co-worker of Sei & Hagiwara) told him about Hagiwara-Kaori break up. Sei felt his heart flutters when he heard this, he really misses Hagiwara. Yet, he also thought it was his fault that they broke up. Sei wanted to do something, to know what exactly happened but he doesn't know what to do since he is the one who cut ties with Hagiwara first. Very harshly too.
One day, Sei found a business card on his desk. It was Hiraiwa's (Sei's friends from uni that he met when he went out with Hiragawa). Hagiwara had left it there.
Turns out, Hagiwara have been visiting the restaurant they visited that day frequently. He was hoping to meet Hiraiwa again—not even knowing whether its possible nor how long it would take him—just to get Hiraiwa's number so he could help Hiraiwa & Sei communicate again. It wasn't explicitly said, but i'm guessing Hagiwara wanted Hiraiwa to be friends with Sei again so Sei could have someone to talk to now that Hagiwara can't (since Sei cut ties with him). Hagiwara might also be worried about Sei (with the bruises and stuff) so he wished Hiraiwa could be there for Sei and help him since he himself can't.
(....tears rolling. the boy got rejected and ignored yet still went above and beyond trying to help the person he likes... Hagiwara is trully a good guy. I'm literally crying remembering this, i could feel his love for Sei. And I'm not alone since Sei was also holding back his tears when he found out about this.)
Sei thought he might have started liking Hagiwara since that day they went out to eat together when Hagiwara assured Sei that it wasn't his fault that he stopped contacting Hiraiwa. He must have started having feelings for Hagiwara far before he even realizes it himself.

Sei didn't hear it over the sound of the pouring rain but he could guess from reading Hagiwara's lips movement. After that, Sei put his forehead on Hagiwara's shoulder and said,
"I thought it didn't matter anymore now."
"I thought if I let it you have a cool down period to a certain extent, you might think that your feelings for me are nothing special...."
Which Hagiwara replied, "Impossible."
And they went back home. Hagiwara stripped down then threw his rain-wet clothes in the dryer, Sei waited sitting on his bed. They started kissing.
And you can guess what happened afterwards ;)
Also, Hagiwara asked Sei for the answer to his confession earlier—right after they both just reached c****x (yes, Hagiwara is gentle yet a menace at the same time)
Sei: "You want me to answer now?"
Hagiwara: "It’ll be hard to refuse now."
Sei: "Idiot."
Sei, stretched out his arms and hugged Hagiwara's back, and replied, "I like you."
They then touched foreheads, Sei said, "Even if you get tired of me, don’t get tired of my body."
Hagiwara: "Shouldn't it be the other way around?"
Yet, Hagiwara understands what Sei meant.
Hagiwara ended up sleeping overnight at Sei's, and yeah, he didn't do any of those "help with the renovation" they were planning at the beginning.

1. This is the end of the main story of Futtara Doshaburi. There is a very short epilogue too but I don't really understand where exactly does it happened in the timeline of the story so I omitted it.

Hagiwara & Sei ended up leaving both their 'partners' and choose to live alone on their own. Sei found out about Hagiwara moving house after Hagiwara registered his change of address to the company (Sei, as the general admin manager, knows). At first, Sei thought Hagiwara might have broken up with Kaori but there's also the possibility that they are about to get married and are moving to a bigger house.
Sei confirmed his doubt after Adachi (co-worker of Sei & Hagiwara) told him about Hagiwara-Kaori break up. Sei felt his heart flutters when he heard this, he really misses Hagiwara. Yet, he also thought it was his fault that they broke up. Sei wanted to do something, to know what exactly happened but he doesn't know what to do since he is the one who cut ties with Hagiwara first. Very harshly too.
One day, Sei found a business card on his desk. It was Hiraiwa's (Sei's friends from uni that he met when he went out with Hiragawa). Hagiwara had left it there.
Turns out, Hagiwara have been visiting the restaurant they visited that day frequently. He was hoping to meet Hiraiwa again—not even knowing whether its possible nor how long it would take him—just to get Hiraiwa's number so he could help Hiraiwa & Sei communicate again. It wasn't explicitly said, but i'm guessing Hagiwara wanted Hiraiwa to be friends with Sei again so Sei could have someone to talk to now that Hagiwara can't (since Sei cut ties with him). Hagiwara might also be worried about Sei (with the bruises and stuff) so he wished Hiraiwa could be there for Sei and help him since he himself can't.
(....tears rolling. the boy got rejected and ignored yet still went above and beyond trying to help the person he likes... Hagiwara is trully a good guy. I'm literally crying remembering this, i could feel his love for Sei. And I'm not alone since Sei was also holding back his tears when he found out about this.)
Sei thought he might have started liking Hagiwara since that day they went out to eat together when Hagiwara assured Sei that it wasn't his fault that he stopped contacting Hiraiwa. He must have started having feelings for Hagiwara far before he even realizes it himself.
"I miss Hagiwara. I want to call him, send him an email, have a drink with him, kiss him, have s*x with him, lean on each other and listen to the rain. I want to say I like him. I want to hear him says he likes me." —Nakarai Sei

On the last day of the rainy season, it was raining. Hagiwara was standing in front of the company's entrance but realizes he got no umbrella. When he is just about to rush through it to buy one from the convenience store, he felt an umbrella atop him and someone behind him. *winkwink* GUESS WHO~ Yes, it's Nakarai Sei.
They have come full circle, the scene reminiscing of when it was Hiragawa who offers Sei an umbrella to shield him from the pouring rain, now it is Sei's turn.
Here, Sei told Hagiwara he moved to a new house of his own. Hagiwara told him the same. They each wanted to know the story why each moved but both only answered with "its a long story" lol
At the end, Hagiwara said to Sei, "First, please tell me your email address."
This time it's not a mistake. Hagiwara wanted to start all over again, on the right track this time.

Note: This is one of the possibilty of where the drama would probably end (I might be wrong). There is more of the main story but I'm not sure whether the drama would include it. The rest of the story is in part 2 below.
