She was never the focus. The focus has always been about the deaths of the men who loved Han Seol Ah and the Insurance they made in her name. That girl's death was what triggered an investigation into those deaths. And her case has been reopened, the police are literally still investigating it.

Seol A' best friend came to fix the yacht himself and the next day Seol A' fiancé died there. He's sus as hell, and he was so jittery when he was brought in for questioning by the police.

That psycho SML definitely orchestrated that accident and I also believe he lured Seol A into that trap at Felix Storage.

It's not just about her being reliable as an informant, Nana herself said her character and his have a connection but she won't say it because it'll be a spoiler, she's not his lover or anything like that but they do have a connection apart from the informant/recipient relationship. And Nana's backstory is connected to his.

I don't believe they were once lovers, they seem super close and comfy with each other. And when she told him to stay out of her life, he told her that he wouldn't do that.

I don't think it's just business, they most likely know each other very well. You don't rant to someone about your wife and tell them important things about your household if it's just business. They have a connection apart from her being his informant and we're yet to see it.
