You know I hated 2gether for this reason. In fact to this day I can't watch those 2 main leads in anything because I resent their exploitation of the gay community by trying to represent gay people as something they are not and never have been.

17 y.o. can not do a kiss scene? Why not? It's not the same as porn or even close to that.

'Americans are weird'. As a Canadian I'll second that. You'd think that these actors are signing up for porn. Take that prudish offense elsewhere as I see it BL drama is not offensive to 17 year old actors. After all a kiss should not be offensive for a 17 year old in the modern era. When my grandma got married a woman could get married at 16. Have young people regressed in maturity since. As far as I'm concerned a 17 year old can make this decision for himself. No need for the prude police to intervene. And if you think Americans are weird, try living next door to them as they seem to being taken over by religious extremists. Enough of this nonsense.

Curious as to why only episode 13 part 4 is available on my you tube feed. What the h*** happened to parts 1-3. Not really concerned as I can watch on IQ but just seems odd.

Those skimpy white shorts from last episode deserve their own award. Absolutely stunning. I still see them in my dreams.

You'll skip just because one person didn't like it!!!!! Wow, just wow. The general consensus is that this is still the masterpiece of BL's. This is a brilliant work of fiction which is still, to this day, a beautiful depiction of youth, coming of age, and real Thai life in the mist real working class boys unsurpassed by anything before or since. I return to rewatch this every few months just to recapture the glorious feelings provided by Teh and Oh-ewh. Doesn't hurt that I've been in love with the character Oh-ewh ever since seeing.

That basketball sure did max damage. I can't believe Nhai actually had illness as a result of that tap on the abdomen. Or he was just playing it up to gain sympathy. I really enjoy his delicate nature

I'd have him as my boyfriend 'cause I think he's very trainable. He needs someone to sort of mother him...nurture him. I would find him very lovable. Of course I'm way to old so my perspective is a little skewed and I could never have a lover that young. So for me it's really just a fantasy.

The characteristics you describe makes him endearing for me. And he's very cute and charming

Tap/Ping is really the only reason to watch. A little bit for Prince and Gear but they're doing their best to become irrelevant. Sher/Fah are really not remotely interesting

You are so right on about young guys getting it on rather than holding hands etc. I'm so tired of that old trope of young guys pledging eternal love and having nothing more intimate than a peck on the cheek. This actually is a realistic approach as two guys actually show sexual interest (they were horney enough to have sex a second time in the morning) without the usual guilt or reservation after. And both leads are very sexy. I found myself liking Kevin more as the series progressed.

They seem to go to great lengths to reveal as little as possible with regard to crotch shots in virtually all BL's. Thus the never ending two sets of underwear is almost always the case. Usually the actor will have a pair of boxers over a speedo type just to make sure nothing is revealed that would indicate anything too graphic

They should spend a lot more time on the two side couples. There is absolutely nothing Sher and Fah could do to make me want to see even one more minute of their inane banter and sexual innuendo. The two of them actually sort of repulse me. On the other hand I find the two side couples quite charming

Well outing his friends was unnecessary and put them in a really uncomfortable position. Other than that I somewhat agree with you. Exposing the hypocrisy of the many was a necessary but could have been done without outing his friends.

People can say what thy like but I'm loving this series. So simple and sort of pure and a real glimpse of what a coming of age gay romance might be like. One boy experienced and mature and another naive and unaware of possible same sex attraction. The acting is actually pretty good and cringe at a minimum. Boys are lovely and the friends are likable. A lot of people are criticizing Nhai for his many flaws but these flaws are fodder to Ai and his nurturing, loving nature. Hope to see them develop into a mature loving relationship. And I sort of wish all these BL's would stop with the unnecessary husband/wife distinction. In my experience versatility is a possible option. Enjoying this and looking forward more cuteness especially from Nhai

GMMTV usually have exceptional production values but rather plain vanilla love scenes, making them sorta out of sorts with the current trends in having hot and realistic intimate scenes. Love making in almost all GMMTV leaves a lot to be desired. One thing that has bothered me with almost all production companies is how come all the guys wake up wearing clothes after some heavy duty sex. And anyone who has ever been to Thailand knows you sleep with as little clothes as possible because the temp is almost never below 25C with high humidity.

I'm absolutely shocked that the rating is this high. I tried watching for at least 7 episodes. After that I came back to it occasionally but could never get into it. I rarely drop a series if it has at least interesting actors but this didn't even have that. Well each to their own, I guess, but I can't see finishing this ever.

I agree with your rating here. I have not watched many Japanese series but have never rated one this high. Actually had to watch much of this a second time to fully understand some of the subtleties particularly with regard to the relationships with the three amigos. To be honest I enjoyed this more the second time as sometimes the translations make for difficult viewing.

Of course you're right. But I'm a sucker for love. And I'm sure Eiji loved Makio. And although he tried to love Mieko I'm sure his heart was with Makio as demonstrated by his heartbreak when he returned to the shirts that he'd given them. Still a very poignant moment.
