i just finished this and can i just say, EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DRAMA IS SO CLICHE. no exceptions, there was no original content (probably only the electric stuff). But i wouldn't say its bad. Its a pretty good watch actually especially if youre not looking for something complicated. This drama is just very light and cute so I guess I would recommend, but no expectations. :)
I don't know if it's just me but I really dislike the mother. I'm starting to get tried of her abusing and over…
i feel the same way. kudos to the girl for being so patient with her mom. but i was on screen, i wouldve slapped the mom for being too controlling. i also cried of joy when she finally invited the guy over for a meal. it was the greatest achievement in the whole drama hahaha
- I hated the mother. She was so controlling that if I was onscreen, I would’ve slapped her ‘cause I was so annoyed with her. But it all paid off on the last episode, she made cry. I still don’t understand why she did what she did, but maybe it was her kind of motherly love, idk I’m not a mother. -I love the friends, they were all so supportive. I actually thought Qin Yan would be that beautiful snobby bitchy roommate but turned out she was the best roommate. -I can’t not mention Huai Wu, he’s ugly, but his character is so funny. He was just a follower, he didn’t achieve great things. I loved him during the crisis with XV and he was complaining to the professor as if he was a student from the same university. Also, at the end, he just became the security guard of HX? Lol. -I love the other friends, they were all so very supportive at every step of the way. even the Snoopy loving cousin. Hahaha! I thought I was going to hate him from the start till end.
I don’t have anything to say about the main leads, but, they are main leads. Nothing major, they did their part as main leads.
i remember reading a comment, this has got to be drama with the most number of interrupted kisses. when i read that, i thought it was an exaggeration ---- until i watched and it and IT WASNT. that was SO MANY FAILED KISSES that it got so frustrating every time. lol. in general, this drama was ok. no extreme feelings.
i want to comment on the FL tho, she always takes these kind of roles, like tomboyish or weird and her kiss scenes weren't that great either. their first kiss was so awkward and bad i didnt want to continue watching. i wonder how it feels behind the scenes.
but my favorite scene was Nanxi's first time drinking. I lol-ed so bad. HAHAHAHA

the start was kind of boring but they got together pretty early so i dont have any complaints..
just like its title, they are so sweet! So cute!! Tho in my opinion, the FL is pretty normal but the ML's sweetness overpowered that thought. I also loved the second couple, the girl's tactic would really make her man stay! Also loved the bromance. I thought they were enemies at the beginning, never thought they are actually xiongdi(s). The second ML sings really well too, i love the scenes where he sings in English, especially Perfect by Ed Sheeran <3
I actually didn't expect that i'd like this drama but i'm glad i watched it after a very boring one (Be With You).

this needs season 2 asap! knowing netflix, it will probably take more than a year to release the second season. netflix-produced kdramas are so good but theyre all awfully cut!!
I once complained about Simon being a jerk, but he changes later on :)I loved this drama, definitely recommend.
I actually thought he was the bad guy at the start. Thought he was the one who’s gonna lead the company to its doom. But he had a 180degree change in the end. Cute.
Can someone please tell me what sing was playing when Go Wo Young saved the lawyer from falling in ep 6??? I know its from a famous drama i just cant remember which.
Its funny... like something serious is happening in a scene then it ends in a comedy. But this is really not my cup of tea. It was hard for me to finish this one.
talk about bad acting... :( but in all fairness, chinese drama with 19-year-old as lead, with all those kisses, and even a hint of a bed scene... i think the producers finally forgot about wholesomeness :D
