Beyond the stellar cast, the selling point of this drama for me is the amount of episodes. Only 27 for a Chinese drama involving big stars!!!

The shower scene was a cinematic experience. It was the most intimate of their moments happening at the most public of settings. I felt thrilled yet tense at the same time and I wasn’t sure if it was because of the intense emotions unraveling as the main characters expressed their love for each other or the thought they could be caught at anytime. Definitely watch this movie if you want to feel.

Park Bo Gum is the only reason why I finished this drama... but he needs to pick better dramas/scripts. Encounter was a snoozefest and the script of this drama... tragic

The palace sets are stunning. I've never seen anything like it before.

I'm pleasantly surprised that I've watched dramas for so long and there's still a drama like this that can fascinate and confuse the shit out of me. HYX's and LZW's relationship is one of my favorites ever.

1. I didn't sign up for the last 4 episodes. Youth romance becoming a tragedy is a first for me. :'(
2. Shen Zhen is probably the most annoying character I've had to come across. There is no redemption for her.

The burning of the village of the widows is probably one of the saddest episodes I’ve ever watched. :’(

The preview for next week looks so intense and looks like they’re doing the movie version ending, but instead it’s Ji Eun and her husband speeding in the car instead of Jung Woo? Oh lord, please no.

I also agree with russian white bear. In the original, the husband does not actively seek for his coworker, but he doesn’t seem to reject her advances on him either, especially when she openly flirts with him. It might turn out different in this version though because there seems to be more spotlight on the husband’s relationship with the coworker.
