It was a sad, but inevitable ending. I should have known what I was getting into and that there was probably no way a killer would have a happy ending. But damn, the tears never stopped rolling. Why did they have to bullet shower him like that? Got me crying waterfalls.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. I love the main couple and I love all the bits of drama in between. I will say though, there’s too many happy endings for a lot of undeserving characters, but I’m happy the main couple got together in the end.
The last episode was a bit of a tearjerker for me, especially when Fuheng died. I ship Fuheng and Yingluo to death and it's just so sad that they cared so much for each other yet couldn't be together. I feel bad for the current Empress. Sure, she was as evil as they come, but seeing Yuan Chunwang stirring shit up without her having a clue was sad. I guess the two truly detestable characters for me in this drama are Yuan Chunwang and Erqing.
The ending is probably the weirdest kdrama ending I’ve seen. Why couldn’t they show his face? I guess that’s how I’ll always remember this drama though, haha.
I loved A Poem A Day because it made me feel light and fluffy watching it (at the time, I was also watching The Great Seducer, which was quite the opposite lol) and I will rewatch MISGB again, it was so good I binged it in three days and I need to go back and appreciate it. I also think the OSTs for coffee table dramas are so good and soothing
He has a past relationship with a girl who he had to break up with because their parents didn’t like that he…
Up to what I've watched so far, Ray Ma doesn't start a relationship with the bad girl. Ray Ma actually has feelings for Sun Yi, while the bad girl is more borderline obsessed with him and won't let him go. All of the couples go through tribulations in this drama, so it's kind of hard to foresee if there will be any couples with a happy ending.
Any other good couples besides the leads? From what I heard I won’t like the leads. Alan Yu gets a girl or no?…
He has a past relationship with a girl who he had to break up with because their parents didn’t like that he was in a wheelchair. But he’s a jerk in this drama lol
This drama is so much better when the couple became official. I'm glad I didn't give up on this after the first six episodes. It's not like the first six episodes were bad, but there was nothing that made me enjoy it as much as I have been enjoying the second half.
I haven't binged a drama so quickly in a while, but I loved this drama! It's satisfying to how the other characters start to admire Guo Guo while despising Yu Xin in the process.
That line broke my heart a little.
