The fact that they Tharn misunderstood and had a fight with Type, was the most realistic part. It goes perfectly in tune with Tharn's jealous personality and also considering how Type was continuously turning down Tharm's marriage proposals. On the point of jealousy it was good to see the level of affection both of them have for each other(Type's direct way of dealing with the matters himself was good).
Champ's storyline was the most unrealistic part of the story. It always appeared to be a forced plot, used to fill the series with an extra story. They should have used extension of Techno's storyline here instead.
Another facet that TharnType's family and friends seem to completely ignore is the societal homophobia, something Type was most concerned about, both for Tharn's family (Thanya anf Thorn's careers mainly) and his career as well. Also, as a gay person in India myself, I know it is most difficult to come-out to the people around you and those you interact with on a daily basis.
I felt that the show discusses various points that the LGBTQ community faces every day. It is not an easy thing when the community around us isn't supportive. One must remember that there are several countries where gay relationships are not only shunned but illegal as well.
Overall I would give a 8.5 out of ten, deducting some points for some poor filler storylines (Champ and Doc's), no band performances from Tharn (no good soundtracks), and NOT ENOUGH OF THARN AND TYPE's affection scenes. I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THEM.
