Same! I think it gets more flak because of certain taboo scenes. Also the main user base of this site doesn't seem to be the target audience for this movie. 😅

I liked it. Surprised at how critical online discourse seems to be of it.

First 5 episodes were nothing amazing but entertaining enough to binge despite my issues with the character development and pacing. Last episode was just a massive letdown.

Rewatching this before the second season - I love how the main character talks when he stops being polite.

I also enjoyed this much more than Squid Games but to be fair about the ratings... Squid Games has like 11 times as many votes.

Had low expectations going in but I ended up enjoying this a lot - definitely more than I did with the similar 'Squid Game'.
