Is this manga after story the same as the novel? I recall the epilogue of the novel was horrible, completly out of characther.

There were a lot of promos without him actually, he seems to have participated only in the early ones. The side couple is promoting more.

They had a plot for a short movie but stretched it to a 2 hours feature. It became boring

Yep, this new trailer is completely bland compare to the other

TMS2 had a horrible dark over dramatic tone

Cause this is based in a seinen manga (for adult men). Its focus was how to run life on a buget and how to make meals for men who doesn’t have time.

It isn’t a romantic manga, nor a BL.

Jan’s characther in the j drama was assexual, but in the manga it wasn’t suggested it.

It would be very nice if they keep it. That cake in her promo picture with the Thai Rokkaku may be a hint that she’ll be asexual too!

Trapped was interned to be the third part of History2 with 4 episodes, written by Lin Pei Yu (who later on would write We Best Love and other famous BLs). But she was busy with other show and the new team decided to hire the person you’re talking about to expand it to 10 episodes.

She was very unprofessional in Taiwanese forums and would pick up fight with fans.

Trapped was poorly received in Taiwan and China (despite being a hit later on worldwide). The second story of History 3 was Miracle, also written by Lin Pei Yu. But since trapped was too expensive and flopped, and Lin was busy, they scrapped it and done the school setting MODC based on a “orignal” screenplay by the same woman who expanded trapped

When the finale aired the plagiarism controversy came up, but the series was a hit in China and Taiwan and it didn’t damage the series.

BTW, the History Franchise till Season 3 was crowdfunded! So that’s why the fans were sooo pissed with everything

Line TV was in transition and the whole HIStory OG team dropped from the franchise while MODC was being produced. LINE tv would hire the same woman to make the disastrous History4 script later on and fund the series themselves. In this process the Crossing the line sequel movie was finally canceled.

The History team would later on work in different Taiwanese BLs, but none were as popular as the History series unfortunately.

BTW, Miracle, the original H3 story, will be adapted into a series this year!
