It's always better not to read these novels before the show airing. The director and script writer made so much thing better than the novel, a few things left out won't change the amazing job they've done

GMMTV really toned down all the stereotipycal things about the novel and made Sarawat so much more enjoyable.

They air some on ONE31 too, My Tee and Sotus were on ONE31. Lately they have been putting their bets on GMM25, maybe to grow the interest on the Chanel.

My Tee finished shooting right before the ending episode. You can easily tell apart the episodes which were recorded prior and the ones recorded during airing hahaha

I really loved how they toned down Sarawat's characther into a much more loveable characther, I also like how they man up Tine and less a stereotipycal uke like on the novel.

I wish they had wraped up this series with 10 episodes editing it so that SZ ending was the kiss and FTTT was the trip and later return with a S02 tying up the knots. But now it's too late.

For BL series is more common to shoot the series entirely before airing. And for dramas made by third part companies too, sometimes they shoot them 1-2 years prior airing. Only those looooong lakorns have this habit of shooting while airing.

So it was a huge risk by the company to shoot Why R U while airing specially with covid being around since January.

Bright will probabily still promote with win just like all other couples from the company, but they may never do a couple on a series again.
