I totally agree and can personally relate. I don't want to delve too deep. But i was also considering the fact that he was looking at his brothers pic seconds before. And it probably clicked, life is fragile, he doses not want to live for the Karl that his parents want anymore, but rather for the Karl that he is. It's akin to flipping a switch.

I was here just waiting for the scandal to drop. I thought for a second, 'just a second' when they had done the dognapping, that probably they were going to take the angry ex-girlfriend plot in a different direction. But know it appears we are going to get the cliche photo/video scandal. Anyway lets get through this so we can also get past the disapproving father bit as well. And hopefully enter home stretch with the happy ending. All that aside i am enjoying this romcom.

Yes this definitely could be done in less episodes. You can identify the fillers so easly.
