This was the first jdrama I watched and thanks to Takeru Satoh I even watched a few Rurouani Kenshin. Having never read mangas I was unprepared for the style Had a real problem with the FL didn't find her good or believable (and have seen May to December series with bigger age gap and better FL acting) Totally agree with the lack of maturity of FL and that constant rabbit in the headlights look. Liked the secondary couple and also couldn't believe how other doctor was attracted to her.Discovering jdramas I discussed with my Japanese hairdresser who said everyone she knew totally agreed about the FL actress. We all agreed on how great Takeru Satoh is- brilliant in First Love and I should have told you..On a positive note liked the OST and all the other staff.
thanks for your comments your English is good. Really enjoyed it too - lots of issues brought up which reflects a lot on society. I grew up in a conservative society so can understand the story - I think for younger generations with smartphones and social media it's even more difficult to navigate. I do like the references to all types of relationships including gay as it's inclusive and reflects the real world we live in. Everyone wants to be loved.
Currently waiting for Épisode 7 - feel like shaking the FL. - exactly like her mother/sister. Almost feels like she's stalking the ML. Not too sure have the patience to wait for the rest of the episodes to be available.
episode 10 only showed on Netflix in Europe after 16h yesterday! isn't there meant to be 12 episodes? Hope it's…
very strange- definitely some things missed/unexplained. Liked the 2 main characters and some of the comical elements the ex and his ex wife wasn't remotely interested in
thank you for your wonderful review my 2nd jdrama and favourite to date. so much so bought the OST. Just beautiful on so many levels visually, acting, scenery music.
enjoyed it light nice change with normal acting adult discussions and no over-acting or over dramatic. Beginning to like j-dramas more and more as fewer episodes than kdramas and not as much trauma/angst etc which can be tiring. Nice change - still found 3rd couple with age differences hard to believe as male actor looked like a teenager.
I agree, but he only feels bad because it is now affecting him. He still wouldn't give a shit if it wasn't Mi…
agree with you we saw him looking at the list of people he fired over the years - that plus fact he told Kise that he cared more for her than job should hopefully give us a good finale
what do you mean episode 12 is tommorow 😭 i really enjoyed this drama
episode 10 only showed on Netflix in Europe after 16h yesterday! isn't there meant to be 12 episodes? Hope it's not all rush focusing on stuff we're not interested in
Happy Ending is not possible here because it will just make the FL. a doormat
Agree with you - the FL and ML both have baggage he's judgemental/unforgiving at first (bit like Darcy in Pride & Prejudice)and she's quick tempered and TOO forgiving (thinking of that ex and his ex wife, never nind her friend)I wish they'd explored that part of their relationship rather than on her ex and his wife. I read somewhere that k-dramas like to have balance - they both seem to be good for each other though not too sure if writers will give us a proper ending. Like the FL actress haven't seen here in anything else but will watch out for her.
Aoshima is definitely giving younger guy vibes with all the teasing, which can be confusing for our mature queen,…
Not finished watching it but really fed up with Rika character - how has the senior boss let her away with doing nothing- drives me crazy. I'd have throttled her by now - Yukino is WAY more tolerant than I'd be!
