We're more than halfway through and I have to say...I'm obsessed. This lakorn has managed to exceed my expectations so far in every aspect and I freaking melt into a puddle of goo when Khun Luang and Mae Orn interact. Interested to see how they will wrap this up!

Your review was what gave me the motivation to keep watching :D the story and the acting was great! Touch's character just stole my heart, I was so shocked when they killed him off like that and he didn't even get to live the life he wanted. Unfortunately the romance didn't work for me but it was still great to have Fern and Tre on my screen. Btw you're so on point with your character descriptions, you have great attention to detail!

Oh wow I didn't know that it was based on a novel! I'm glad you're enjoying it so far, Mario and Yaya just gave me all the feels <3 although I wish they weren't so push and pull with each other, unless that's how it was in the novel? I'd have to take a look.

Also uggghhhhh I hated Lita so so much, she's the worst lakorn best friend ever! She's so shady! Kinda sucks that they made her worse in the drama than in the novel. Cuz otherwise the actress who plays her is pretty unique.

I completely agree with you on all the things you've said, although I personally found the romance to be more believable. The push and pull stuff they were doing after the reveal was indeed very annoying and disappointing. It's kinda nice that you and I both thought of Game Rai Game Ruk when watching this; if they had just put a groveling scene from Mario like they did with Nadech, I would've liked this more lol.

Lol I also felt that narrative change in episode 15. It was like I was watching a completely different drama.

A little late to comment, but after KKSR I was thinking Mike and Mookda needed to be in a boran lakorn and my shipper heart would be full. Lo and behold, the news of this came out and I was pretty damn excited. Hopefully this will be better executed than KKSR and I'm eagerly anticipating what this lakorn and Mike/Mook have to offer.

Wow your dedication to watching the remakes is top notch! Sounds like the 1988 version would be more up my alley (who doesn't like manipulative charmers haha). I'm glad you enjoy this storyline! I remember it was a bit much; I do wonder if they ever remake this, how it would turn out. I would totally check that out :)

Ikr? I don't think Pokhai was inherently bad and if Siri was able to let go of her ambitions, they would've had a good life together. But I'm sure Siri would've made the same choice :(

Princess Saengjunta is the wife of the ML's twin brother (in the prequel to this lakorn). Keep watching! The ending of P'Pa and Nampeung is totally worth it!!!
