Also, did you notice how she kinda blamed LBY when he found her in the burnt prison almost dead. She was like…
She just seems very immature still and is very self absorbed. Which I guess is understandable given her age. I thought she had shown some growth but the scenes from the latest episode made me think otherwise lol.. very minimal growth.
People had mentioned below that in the novel, JiTong is with LBY when he is banished for 5 years. Not sure how/why...…
Totally! I've really liked that they don't drag out the angst and resolve the issue quickly. Totally get that we need the drama, but they balance it out well with all the happy moments.
His real parents were killed in the Gu city massacre, he's actually a Huo and not a Ling. The Ling guy who's shown…
Totally agree. Easier to say just forget it than to actually do it. Also, I feel like the love between LBY and SS is so strong she knows it's something he can't let go. She'd feel the same.
this ep is where CSS wears the red clothing and i think Lby was taking his revenge since he was brutally killing…
Wow seems like a lot to cram in for the last few episodes. Based on the previews up to 48, none of that is even a huge plot. I guess it's just short clips.
Those who read the novel, can somebody tell me/ spoil me bout Jitong’s participation in the next episodes? looks…

I think it also has to relate to the fact that his aunt was a member of the Huo family, and so he may have been their only hope for the family to live on? I'm not sure of the details as to why. I'm also assuming that she probably knew her husband (Ling) was in the wrong and trying to wipe out her entire family. Guess we'll have to see how it unfolds!

Yea Huo Chong is his actual father. What supposedly happened was that his aunt/"crazy mom" actually switched him with his cousin who was around the same age. So they all think he's actually a Ling vs a Huo.
I'm not quite sure how his uncle was actually involved with the attack on Gu... I haven't read the books but people have been explaining spoilers haha.
Okay I've had enough. I need the spoiler. Can someone tell me what secret LBY is hiding? Who are his real birth…
His real parents were killed in the Gu city massacre, he's actually a Huo and not a Ling. The Ling guy who's shown in the show is actually his uncle. He avenges his parents death and kills off the Ling clan. As a result, he's banished to the country side for 5 years as punishment, that's when the engagement is broken off.
Oh boy, can't take this angst but still loving every minute of it. This drama definitely has not disappointed in terms of keeping us engaged and the pace of it has been great.
YS is also surprisingly grown on me, I guess this will help me with the later episodes when she briefly gets paired up with him lol. Can WeTV just do a speed release already?! We all want it!!
I may sound like a LBY apologist but whatever.Imagine having your entire life wiped in a flash, in the most violent…
His character is flawed but who isn't? He's a normal human being. I think that's what I appreciate the most about this drama, all the characters are flawed but real in their own way.
