3. I think k-dramas according to their genre are targeted to different age groups and not gender but definitely they always try to please the female audience.

5. If the lead actor/s and actress/es have very good or amazing acting skills then I will give it a try for sure. For me the plot/storyline, writting/dialogues and directing are very important. And if the actors are handsome as well then even better, dramas feed the mind and eye.
