i feel like "Princess' Man" and "100 Days my Prince" had even worse endings. This ending is just rushed but it did affect my rating. I'm actually happy to find a sageuk to watch and finish, it's been a while. I'll say i was way more into the politics at times more than the romance, and the romance only really got interesting around episode 16. It's a slow burn, and i didnt binge this. Kind of watched a few, month later or week later, watched some more. 8/10
man, I would of really liked it if it had more orchestral music and pieces. If Seo Ri and Tae Rin became friends earlier and performed with others this would have been really top shelf. But the emphasis on family is what also got me to binge it like any good Kdrama, so I feel like there was still a lot to like. Jessica was also the coolest, kind of made me want to watch Suspicious Housekeeper.
I'm kind of bothered by the male lead. The character is way too bland. I'm not sure this role suits Cha Eunwoo…
I think the male lead's story and character is driven by his parents divorce and how it shaped him mentally. He's a quirky dude, but I can understand the performance in that way.
who is more intelligent .... mei changsu or xiao ping jing? or ping zhang? or old Ting sheng? Share your opinion…
Mei Changsu successfully overthrew an empire and didn't really have to fight himself. That's a person who really utilizes their intelligence. Ping Jing though is BOSS, lol, I'd guess he'd have the best counter attack to even Mei changsu, just saying
this show was smart and always kept me guessing. Orphan Black was my favorite sci fi show along with Expanse at the time. I don't know if it can duplicated, but we'll see. I hated the daughter Kira the most, she was always whining and was such a Debby Downer in the last season.
Overall this was fun drama, with bits I liked and third act I was disappointed with. It had too much emphasis on how the main characters got to lose their memories. Still a very interesting plot and good lead actors.
I think you're right. It's unfair that Rang is held accountable for the fallout alone. What you said about dreams…
He also gave up seven years of his own life, and they both didn’t mention marriage as a possibility, I think it was an assumption. I don’t really fault either, rather they were oblivious to what their dreams were.
Bai Bai is purposefully setting up Brother Zhong as the crazy school bully, and more school drama. OTP is together but Li Zheng got Da Mao kicked out of school, and Da Mao wants revenge. Angelina is being virtually amazing, no context needed. One more episode though.
