Totally agree with you. Don’t compare dramas! Each drama has its merits and sometimes demerits. We go for the genres we like. If I like a drama, I go all out for it; if I don’t like it, I keep quiet because I don’t want to spoil it for someone who does. Negative comments can put a person off and deters a person from watching a drama which that person otherwise may have enjoyed. After all, one man’s meat is another man’s poison and vice Versa.

The second male lead can give her the love and care she wants, but she doesn’t want this love and care from him. She wants them from the ml, and I think eventually, the main leads will come to an understanding. Both need to accept each other’s strengths and flaws; both need to compromise. Only then, a healthy relationship can be forged. And I think they are both heading towards that.

Yes, positive development of the main leads. Great acting! I’m enjoying the drama, too. Not looking for flaws in a microscopic way. I was flabbergasted when I saw the rating dropped from 8.2 to 7.9.

Yes, I saw that in the preview. But it’s a very short breakup. He finally musters his courage to say ‘I love you’ instead of I like you. And he said his love this time round is different from his feelings for her 6 years back. Sounds sincere 😄

I guess his parents’ divorce and his assumption that his dad abandoned him leave a serious impact on him, (plus the fact that he was dumped by his fiancée just before their marriage). And over the years, he’s building an armour round himself. A man like this couldn’t possibly have a high EQ. Well! Let’s see how the FL can improve this aspect 🤞🤞

Definitely agree with you. Flawed characters are realistic and true to life. Otherwise, how can one change if one is perfect. And nobody’s perfect!

This drama is definitely worth watching. I always feel that the characters in a drama can tell us something about life. In this drama, we see a cold aloof ml; but he’s slowly changing for the better. The fl has character development. Many feel that she should just drop the ml like a bomb, but it’s easier said than done. She didn’t divorce the ml because she didn’t love him. She divorced him because she felt her love was unrequited. When they met after a few years, we can see that she still loves him and the ml is trying to subtly enter her life again. He can’t changed his arrogance overnight. All said, I would love to see them back together again.

Totally agree with you. She married the ml, knowing that he did not love her as much as she does, could not reciprocate her love. But he cared for her nonetheless and like you said, her wholehearted love suffocated him during their marriage. But this time round, I think he’s slowly beginning to appreciate and welcome her into his life.
