Netflix are still miles ahead of Disney+, both in Korea and worldwide in terms of subscribers. But also in terms…
Disney+ doesn't have enough consistently attractive offerings, so we always save shows for my spouse's sci-fi preference and watch their K-dramas when we get a deal or have a long holiday and then resubscribe and binge watch.

I want to share an interesting article from the production side and how the dependence of streaming services have…
Well, having female narrative oriented content matters to me, and Netflix knows as they tag these for me. Many in the US love UK shows, which feature regular looking people, talented female lead characters, and better stories than those in the states, for example, "Happy Valley." Moms make the spending decisions here in the US, and we do love following handsome leads, but we also tire of being under represented and bored by stupid US offerings.

Should've get rid of the love triangle and paired Gayeong with Kowon as the second couple
I didn't think of it as a love triangle, more of an exploration of maturity. Perhaps Ko Won needed a more stable influence, and he did seem to mature during his community work. Gayeong leaves behind fantasy boyfriends for a kind and funny older man, who has also done some work on growing up.

Title My Sweet Mobster Spoiler
Great drama but ending felt rushed…..I’m a little disappointed. I would have loved a wedding at the end.I…
I agree, rushed. Though I didn't need a wedding, and there were nice sentiments in the scene, I was disappointed when the garden lights came on and not much after, when it could have been really magical. And yes, sexy voice+ 😍😍

I am spoiled by subscriptions without ads; however, I can only find this series in the US on ad-supported Roku and Pluto. Sadly, Walmart+, which offers some Pluto series ad-free, does not include this one.

I'm writing all this to post where it can be watched here lately, but after watching two episodes, I wonder if I should continue.

I enjoyed the silliness/physical comedy of the first episode as a break from more serious dramas, but the second episode is already making me question the time/ad-irritation investment. I started watching as I like Kim Seon Ho, strong female leads, comedy, and mystery. I've seen worse on Netflix and wonder if they or Viki ever licensed it or might consider it. I hope so.

Person Um Tae Goo
Today is my first time seeing this actor as I've just begun watching "My Sweet Mobster", and I was surprised seeing fewer than expected main roles in his list. I feel ripples of Gregory Peck when I watch him act, and I hope he will acquire similarly prominent roles in the future.
