Are Chinese dramas not supposed to be 40ep max, why is this show 47 Ep?
Unfortunately, China has eased and effectively lifted the strict 40-episode limit for television dramas, allowing longer series and consecutive multi-part releases under updated regulatory guidelines. Personally, when I see that there is more then 40 episode I immediately lose interest to watch no matter how good the drama is. Usually the final 10 episodes (sometimes even more) are usually truly superfluous and mostly just drag things out.
