I think I should have watched it when it aired [2]. I thought the reception to the series wasn't this high, it must have gotten better with each episode!
i'm so torn apart with this series, the story , acting, the music are absolutely great, but it's romantization of abuse is so sad to watch... I know there can be multiple interpretations of Gu Hai's actions towards Bao Luo Yin, but to incite agressive and forced behaviour and then simply blame it on your feelings is something very shameless and imoral to do, in my opinion.
