Rom-Com lovers assemble!

This show is the epitome of a cliché K-drama, but in the best way possible. It has all the classic tropes: the male lead pursuing the female lead, a domineering CEO (with *trauma*, of course), a badass(kinda) female lead, and steamy romance.
The chemistry between the ML and FL is OFF THE CHARTS. They share a deep understanding, zero insecurity, and unwavering trust. Once they’re together, they MOSTLY stay together—no unnecessary angst, just two people who go out of their way to be with each other. And as if that wasn’t enough to make you feel painfully single, the second leads come in. The second FL is hands down the coolest character in this show, and her chemistry with the second ML is INSANE; you’ll be begging for a spin-off just for them. The only missing cliché? "Take the money and leave my son." No ugly jealousy plots from "rivals in love".
Plot-wise, there’s nothing groundbreaking, it’s the classic "CEO falls for Cinderella" story, but executed SO WELL that you don’t even care. The music gets a high rating ONLY because of *"Love, Maybe"*—that song is never leaving my playlist. Ever.
This show has become my ultimate comfort watch. Whenever I’m in a slump or out of things to watch, I rewatch it. And since there's no real plot to spoil? ENDLESS REWATCH VALUE. The acting? Decent for a romcom. Expect laughs, butterflies, and falling completely in love with the characters. Most importantly: HAPPY ENDING.

Refreshing yet frustrating one-time watch

Well-executed timelapse, family trauma, okay-ish romance, great banter between ML and FL.
Great acting. Music not to my taste. Refreshing friendship. It was nice to watch a youth drama for a change, but the slow pacing tested my patience. Well-rounded female lead, but it also had me enraged over everything she had to endure growing up. Her struggles were hard to watch at times, and I couldn’t help but be frustrated. The emotional weight made it a bit too much for a rewatch, and once you know the plot, there’s little left to revisit. That said, as a one-time watch, it’s definitely worth experiencing. Most imp- Happy ending.
