Pretty Good!
I'd like to start off the review with a statement- 'Best chemistry and cast I've ever seen.'The tension right from the very first episode keeps you hooked onto the drama! The intense romantic atmosphere with some mixture of suspicion and betrayal was portrayed beautifully! Although I really loved the it, as someone who doesn't watch fantasy cdramas at all, I did kind of have a hard time understanding some bits and parts of it since this was my first in this genre.
I've loved Yu Chengen's acting since Coroner's diary and intially thought it'd be a similar role. But him as the villain was really really impressive as well! His acting showed a lot more depth and it was really great!
Lu Yuxiao had been one of my favorites since time and him are just right and now seeing her in this drama, her acting has improved so much more! She did the role BEAUTIFULLY! Her expressions were so complex and intricate! She gave the character absolute justice!
This was my first drama by Minghao and oh was I left speechless! He is INSANELY good! His expressions were so flirty and perfect I was left blushing every single time! He is an amazing actor and he was absolutely perfect through and through in the drama. To say I've become a fan would be an understatement.
Overall, I really like the drama and the cast! The songs and OSTs were really beautiful as well! The aesthetics of the drama were perfectly suited to the theme and the vfx was great too! Loved it!

Good enough
It's good for someone who likes realistic dramas I would say. For me, dramas are an escape from reality so I prefer fictional stories. Overall a good drama. The story is kind off too realistic in a way. Their living conditions and everything but I LOVE the aesthetics they've created! They replicated the vintage style aesthetics beautifully! The cinematography is STUNNING.The two leads are my favorite from different dramas so seeing their chemistry was nice. I like the FL from once we get married and the love you give me! Please watch those too! amazing ones! And I know the ML from to fly towards you.

LOVED IT SM
I love Zhang Yuxi since My little princess and Bi Wenjun since Sweet Teeth and seeing them together was such a surprise at first! But the chemistry is soooo good! The drama is nothing crazy, just simple. It's natural and sweet! I'm used to seeing Bi Wenjun as the quiet, sweet and kind character so seeing him be quiet, nonchalant and with the idgaf attitude was quite interesting! WE LOVE A VERSATILE MAN! Zhang Yuxi looks so beautiful throughout! I also like that she knew what she wanted. She didn't want the chaotic corporate life in the big cities but the quiet and peaceful life in the village! I think that is inspiring since in this time and day, everyone cares about making it big in the cities! This one just shows a more realistic approach to life! Overall a good watch! Would recommend! It is a little difficult to watch the first ep but I promise it gets better! 9.5/10!Was this review helpful to you?
