Funny how some people in here don't like those who don't like the show. It's like we are not allowed or we are not supposed to criticize a show and instead we should only drop it and don't post anything negative in here.
Well, sadly, I think not everything can be rosy and beautiful... GMMTV produces a lot of BL series and the majority are mediocre/forgettable at best (even some of the non-BLs are terrible as well) but people tend to excuse a bad plot, bad directing/acting/writing, usual Thai BLs clichés, etc., just because the lead actors are hot/cute/make a nice couple.
This series had promise but its becoming quite confusing and sometimes dull and I would think the main focus should have been both returning to their universe or at least trying to find the portkey (because Sea's character insists is not Jimmy's character) but now the focus has been the movie and funding for the movie. All that means that we need to see Gun, Godji, and Tay make special appearances and Perth be introduced as a new character (on episode 8!) to try to improve the show (as a side note... I find it interesting that Perth, who supposedly did not want to be involved with BLs anymore, is now doing another BL AND his character is interested in Sea's character... go figure).
Dropping a series might be the easiest solution but one has to complain (respecting others' opinions, of course) in order to maybe bring some change. Quality BLs should be the norm not the rare prize for us viewers.

The episode count is not wrong (technically)... Episode 515 had Michael Jackson as the legend being honored and…
No problem!

I don't know exactly from when, but the count of episode is wrong. Last Saturday, June 11th, episode 559 aired…
The episode count is not wrong (technically)... Episode 515 had Michael Jackson as the legend being honored and the show aired in South Korea as it was scheduled... but due to licensing/copyright issues with the songs, it is not available on KBS On-Demand and it did not air on KBS World (they have only posted clips on Youtube but not the full episode). So, KBS just skipped that episode from the count and only the Korean and English Wikipedia pages of the show do have the correct episode list. It even caused problems because idol group ONEUS performed in that episode and even if they didn't win, their fans were desperate to watch their performance but couldn't.

Ep.8 ended at the movie, then had an extra scene for fan service basically. I did like the alt ending, but where…
No clue really... no idea if it's after Gav goes to NY and comes back, Cairo returns to the province with his family and they both meet later, or they never leave Gav's house in the first place...

Title Gameboys 2 Spoiler
For those expecting a brand new season and storyline following Gav and Cairo... you'll be quite disappointed... season 2 ended up being Gameboys: The Movie, with some extended scenes (not that many really) and a more defined ending that will please most of the viewers. If you saw the movie, then probably just watch episode 8 to get the ending, otherwise you won't miss much if you already saw the movie.

That semifinal doubles match was so exciting... it is a shame they did not air anything from the final as they lost 3-1... while I'm sure some of the show was a bit scripted to provide a little more drama, it was a good way to promote a sport that Korea has always excelled at in international competitions and use famous celebrities to do it.

My comments from 2 weeks ago still stand... this series shows how good cinematography and having a cute lead (New) and a hot lead (Zee) cannot override mediocrity. The show had plot issues from the beginning, no character development outside of the main leads, the two main couples are together for the wrong reasons, Max and Nat are again doing very similar roles and types of characters to the ones they ALWAYS play, Zee with the "sugar daddy" vibe, and now the worst... in episode 12 after Kuea throws his tantrum and runs away, Lian finds him and tells him he already knows all his secrets (the motorcycle, the other house, the different major, being Kirin, etc.) but instead of being the one who apologizes for having even more secrets (the Keerati family's bankruptcy issue being the most important), he acts all mighty and tells Kuea that he "forgives him for everything" and "that he is disappointed that he didn't trust him"... I mean, really?! the person who trusted no one this whole series and did everything behind Kuea's back is asking for trust? And after talking, they solved the issue in 3 minutes and have sex... brilliant writing! It is a shame that we barely got anything from the third couple of Syn and Nuer because even the kiss in episode 11 looked a bit too much considering the only thing they did in the previous 10 episodes (and even less because Tutor doesn't appear until episode 3, I think) was just flirt. And then we get a super cheesy ending with both fighting to propose and Lian always needing to be the alpha male and having to propose last to Kuea... then marriage equality message that felt like a last-minute addition and the shameless promo for the next series with Jimmy-Tommy and the other couple appearing near the end.
I feel bad for all those delusional BL fans who cannot differentiate a good series from a mediocre one, just because they see a pretty face or two in the show. We are getting way too many BL series these days, so I think its fair to demand some quality instead of being satisfied with anything as long it has cute actors or shirtless hot actors or kisses and sex scenes or all of the above.
On The Miracle of Teddy Bear May 2, 2022
The right ending for this series... thankfully the writers decided to go the correct way and kept a teddy bear as a teddy bear instead of magically making Tofu a human being permanently.
Just like Prib said in the last episode, "we all need our Tofu in our lives", and I think Nut always loved Tarn but needed Tofu to gather the courage to face those demons from the past, so he also loved Tofu but his love was different than his love for Tarn.
The story had plenty of time to connect all the characters as the series had 16 episodes that lasted around 90 minutes each. I appreciate the fact that all the actors are older than 25, (First is the youngest at 25, Inn is 27, Job is 29, and Judo is 31) so we have mature actors portraying mature roles and complicated situations... and doing a good job.
However, I felt some disappointment as to how some things were never explained in the story... we know the tears brought the furniture and Nut's notebook and teddy bear to life but not exactly why/how Tarn's love (I'm assuming it was Tarn's love) produced a miracle to transform Tofu from a teddy bear into a human being. Also, we never really know why Tofu took the physical appearance of Song's brother, Nueng... was it because Nueng was Tarn's friend? maybe... was it just to bring Song and his father together?... maybe, but we never know for sure. Also, what happened to Jan? The woman was evil but if Saen blamed himself for killing Tofu and TRD and the other despicable woman (the CEO) got away with almost killing Tarn, then Jan should have been innocent and free to do whatever she wanted, but nothing is said about her and suddenly Tarn is now living next door to Nut. And how on earth was a teddy bear able to escape a burning coffin? I mean, I can understand the talking furniture up to a point, but that escape was almost Mission: Impossible or James Bond-style.
So, as you can see, the series had some flaws and I can say this has to be the series with the most flawed characters I've ever seen as every single one has some issues to deal with... but, that being said, I think it is a very good series that was filmed over a year ago according to Inn and Job's interviews that aired on primetime in a major major channel in Thailand and might open the door for more good-quality BLs that we so desperately need.

You're exactly correct. People see two good looking men on screen and automatically it becomes the best series…
Oh I'm sure of that... we've seen many many examples of rushed endings just because they ignored the main plot issue for so long and then just ran out of episodes to solve it.
Its funny how people are complaining about those who complain about this series... but there are better BL series done by smaller companies or with rather inexperienced or untrained actors compared with all the resources Domundi seems to be using on this one. We deserve quality not just hot bodies or good looking faces.

Truth. I mean its beautifully shot and the put money into this and the boys can all act... but I am also missing…
Yeah, 10 out of 12 episodes that could have been used to develop more of the story instead of showing me Zee shirtless (which I've seen enough on Why R U?) almost every episode along with New crying or whining almost every episode as well.

Title Cutie Pie Spoiler
I'm not sure why BL fans are always delusional and don't see the reality of mediocre shows just because the lead actors are cute like New or hot like Zee... this show is really going nowhere and its already episode 10!
The whole premise of this story is Kuea-Lian engagement done by their families which in such a traditional and conservative society like in Thailand would never allow an engagement between two guys... I know things are changing but I just don't see the elders just deciding to get them engaged since they were kids.
If you get past that plot issue, the lead couple can't communicate and both have secrets but nobody does a thing to solve that and talk. Kuea cries, then gets angry, then he avoids Lian and hides, talks to Diao who provides some advice and we repeat the same process... so far, he's done that 2-3 times already. Lian knows a lot about Kuea's secrets, he has plenty more secrets of his own but first he acted all cold to Kuea and then warmed up to him and can't stop acting like a dog in heat. And then they bring the bankruptcy issue which up to now, we have no clue why the Keerati family went bankrupt, why Lian has to become the sole owner of everything, and what is his real goal in all this.
The secondary couple has that issue of Yi doing something to Diao in the past that apparently made him have amnesia and Diao's father is using that to his advantage to get things from Yi, but its all a mystery as they really haven't said much about that backstory. And the third couple has barely had any screentime, so aside from small moments of them flirting, I have no clue what are the writers going to do with them.
The cinematography is great and New has been a good acting/singing discovery for Domundi but Max-Nat have played the same type of roles in every single story they've been together and Zee has this air of "sugar daddy" since Why R U?, and it even looks weird when he breaks character like the episode he danced... otherwise, he sounds a bit fake, he's smoking hot, but not convinced with his acting.
On Master in the House Apr 12, 2022
Sadly this show is starting to disappoint me with all the cast changes... the original 4 cast members were awkward at first but then developed good chemistry. Yook Sung-jae had to go to the military and Lee Sang-yoon decided to focus on acting (even if he only landed one show, "One the Woman", in all the time after he left "Master in the House")... then Cha Eun-woo was ok as the idol replacement and Shin Sung-rok had some very funny moments.
I think the show started to go wrong when Kim Dong-hyun joined. He is just too stubborn, gets super scared of everything without reason (like in "The Great Escape") and is playing the "dumb/naïve" role in all the shows he is in. The show's chemistry is kinda going away because they have to explain everything 25 times to him and then tries to show he's smart and ends up saying things that don't make much sense or break up the mood of the episode... similar to how he behaves in "Amazing Saturday".
Yoo Su-bin never really clicked with all the cast and it was sad to see how they spent just the last 2 minutes of episode 215 saying goodbye to him and also how they couldn't even properly thank Lee-jung even after she appeared in 7 episodes as "1-day disciple" plus the 2 she appeared as a master! (they only included a small note at the very end of the episode thanking her and Su-bin for being on the show).
Not sure if Lee Seung-gi has something to do with the revolving door of cast members as the show is really catered to make him shine through his singing and his interactions with Yang Se-hyung. But now, the addition of Eun Ji-won might be another mistake as he is even more stubborn than Dong-hyun... that works in a funny show like "New Journey to the West" but so far Ji-won hasn't been great in "I Can See Your Voice 9" and he had some awkward moments as captain in "All Table Tennis"... hopefully I am wrong and he becomes a good addition to the "Master in the House" team.

Episode 596 did not air on March 20 just in case you were looking for it, it will be shown next Sunday instead... with all the celebrities that have been catching COVID, it seems they needed to delay one week because they haven't been able to tape any new episode since March 7 when they taped an extra segment that will air in episode 596 as BTOB was supposed to be the guests but caught COVID and couldn't make it to the show and they also taped episode 597, but nothing since then.

Finally a Korean BL that delivers. No need for a weird/nearly impossible/overly-exaggerated plot, no need for a screaming/bitchy/jealous female character, no need for 20 different characters that have about 10 minutes of total screen time, no need for 1-3 different side couples, no need for annoying/closed-minded/overly excited parents, no need for love triangles/squares, no need for unnecessary plot twists, and no need for shirtless actors or sex scenes nearly every episode (you know we've seen too many BLs with all these scenarios). This series had a simple plot, good acting and good directing that remained mostly faithful to the original source, no need for anything else. Good for Park Jae Chan who said his agency was "concerned" about him doing a BL series (he is currently a member of the group Dongkiz) and didn't care and had great chemistry with an ex-idol (former member of KNK) who is 8 years older than him and still made it work.

Aside from "To My Star" and "Light On Me", other Korean BLs have had some good moments but weren't as solid as this one was. This series does deserve a second season (unlike most of the crappy Thai BLs that have been getting second seasons) but we won't be able to see it anytime soon until Park Seo Ham returns from his military service. At least both lead actors have already said they are willing to do season 2 in the future... hopefully they feel the same way then.

Hey do you know where can I watch it with eng subs?
Dramacool.so or Kisstvshow.to normally upload the episodes with subtitles a day after they air (Kisstvshow is always 1 day later, Dramacool sometimes takes a day or two). And if you wait 3-4 days there is a Youtube account that always uploads only the videos of each singer from each episode and cuts out all the chat before the guests pick someone. Mnet also uploads shorter videos of each singer but without the translation (they take quite a long time to upload the subtitles) and sometimes the singer performs an extra song or the song is cut short on the TV broadcast, so they upload the full version (again, with no subtitles)... on Youtube, just look for "ICSYV season 9 episode #".
On I Can See Your Voice Season 9 Feb 27, 2022
As usual with most seasons... so far, it's either 4 good and 2 bad singers or 3 good and 3 bad singers in every episode. For some reason they always assume that foreigners should be bad singers and I still don't get how you can eliminate a singer based on their looks, even Davichi pointed it out in this week's episode (Ep. 5). The detective squad is getting a bit annoying with all the screaming they do, especially Kim Na Young, and not having Lee Sang Min this season is quite noticeable because Eun Ji Won doesn't provide that much help. And this season, Leeteuk and Yoo Se Yoon are exaggerating their actions quite a lot, especially when asking the guest(s) to select someone to eliminate.
