their married life in that house seems not really spacious lol i mean the ML guy works as an assemblyman, why…
to be fair, they are humble people, and because he is a politican, he doesn't want to be seen as taking advantage of his power (as mentioned in earlier episodes), ie. living in a nice big house means other parties could use that to hurt his reputation. And some korean houses are just that small ;))
This drama is really great, funny, heartwarming and realistic (while sometimes too much, but it's bearable). I understand the hardships of being a mother, and everyone seems to praise it so much but at the end of the day, the mother still has to suffer the most, it makes me scared of having a baby because of the tremendous sacrifice a mother has to give. I hope every woman gets to have a supportive family and partner.
Up to episode 3, Sooja's family is so disgusting and ungrateful it makes me feel uncomfortable watching. I feel sorry for her so much. Hope she got her happy ending.
I enjoy the drama, Inukai and Suzuki pulled off great chemistry, hard to say it was entirely bromance, if there is season 2, maybe they will fall in love. The story is good even though pretty slow and nothing was solved at the end? Kinda left it hanging so I really hope they will make season 2.
I seriously believe somehow life has led me to this drama, cause their situations are so close to mine, esp Rihoko's story. The message was executed perfectly, I love how each "konto" is portrayed really well with the storyline of each episode, very meaningful and hilarious at the same time. I laughed while crying at the finale and felt pretty heartbroken having to say goodbye to the characters, but it was a hopeful feeling and gave me the strength to go on and deal with my personal issues. Great acting and chemistry, the main trio really seem like they are >10 years best friends, sometimes it doesn't even feel like I'm watching a drama cause their emotions are so raw and natural. Surprisingly, I'm not a fan of Kasumi's acting but I can't imagine anyone else as Rihoko other than her!
While you can already guess she is the accomplice/ mastermind like 30 minutes into the movie? The twist that she is a patient is actually pretty surprising, idk how she got herself checked out though, probably lots of plot holes if you look into it. But still an enjoyable watch with a clear message.
probably not the most, but so far the weirdest sex scene I've ever seen, but it's kinda cute, can see the 2 actors had fun filming that sequence. The manga is pure wholesome and romantic, the drama made it more hilarious
I finished both the drama and manga, I think the manga extra on Kaori's wedding is a good ending for her, I don't like how the drama gives Ryo a chance because that man will not change. I also like how Rinko and Key's relationship didn't make it, maybe they like each other, but they just won't last, they met so both of them could change and move forward in life. This drama/ manga portrays really well how a woman (or generally any adult) thinks when life is tough, there are moments that I relate so much to. I can never understand people who got into an affair but this makes me feel like it's really easy to fall into one, everyone knows it's wrong but you can't get out of it once you did? I'm glad both Koyuki and Kaori realize what's good for them in the end.
For a 2014 drama, I think the way the story was told is very good. The romance didn't really make sense to me, but I like how they handled their problems. Ayase Haruka portrayed Hanae really well, I think hers is the best among most of the awkward, shy, plain characters I have seen.
