There are much better Hu Yi Yao short dramas to watch...
The assassin story is as generic as it gets and the romance was extremely boring - there's no tension at all and no development, the ML is just suddenly committed to her for life early in the drama and that's that.I watched this because I like Hu Yi Yao but she lacked chemistry with the actor for the ML in this one and his acting skills were also really subpar compared to her previous costars. Both Secrets of the Shadow Sect and Immortal Destiny are miles better than this one.
The ending was also PARTICULARLY bad even by cdrama standards, which is really saying something.
