I liked the actors and the acting was really great but in my opinion it couldn't save the film as the plot was really bad. I have an overall idea what the film wanted to tell me but come on, so many stereotypes and wth had yuri auditioning for some kpop star programm to do with the swimming plot, it was just random. and the bad guy is only there to get beat up so there is a problem happening and after that he pretty much isn't relevant at all? Yes, the acting of all the actors is really good, it's just that the plot was all over the place. It's ok to watch when you don't really want to use your brain or you can just watch it for the eye candy but don't expect too much otherwise...just my opinion though
It really does sound like her name is being pronounced as Dong Mi, I also wondered about that too.
it's because if there are two syllables (in this case dok and mi) and the first one ends with ?/k and the next one starts with ?/m then ?/k is pronounced as ?/ng, making it dong mi. Korean pronouncing rule, probably that way you can pronounce i more fluently
EDIT: apparently korean characters can't be posted in the comment section...why?
I really hated fashion king and the female lead was the most annoying person i've ever seen in any drama. I mean, almost no facial expression and so indecisive until the end, always letting others deciding for her and stuff...and I diligently watched the drama till the end in the hope it get's better and the main lead gets a grip of herself but sadly it was a pure waste of time
I know that many people think that mickey yoochun is a good actor...but i don't know why, something about his…
though i agree with yoochuns improved acting i don't like i miss you much either...but maybe that's because i find the story only mediocre and without the excellent cast I would've dropped it a long time ago. Still thinking about whether or not i should continue with this drama or not...i probably will though, because it's yoo seung ho's last drama before enlisting...
I know that many people think that mickey yoochun is a good actor...but i don't know why, something about his acting just puts me off and it is basically because of him that i couldn't finish the 3 dramas i was watching where he was starring in...but maybe that's just preference.
I was surprised by park shin hyes acting...in a positive way. Seriously i've seen a few dramas with her and i didn't really like her acting. But seems like she got better because from what i've seen in the first 2 episodes she was really quite good
I also study asian studies (where i focus on korea) and ethnology :) Apparently I'm currently thinking on what to write my bachelors thesis and i was thinking about sth in the direction of how much films and dramas can really portray and give you insights into a culture...and then i read this article, funny. But i say amen to everything that is mentioned :)

Ah, i just read somewhere, that producers revealed that there won't be a loveline because this drama will focus more on the school life and such...but even so, it is alright wit me, i think without forcing a loveline it makes this drama seem more realistic...

yeah...the teachers really have some chemistry :)
I also think maybe hakyung cares at least a bit for namsoon? But i'm probably interpreting a bit too much into it ^^
what about the drama school 2013? why isn't it on the list? I would've loved to vote for it...

haha, school 2013 is really really good right? glad you like it...and even though there is little to no romance in it, the bromance is even better :)
and the overall plotline is amazing (well, that's what i'm thinking)
School 2013 shows up everywhere on my computer and I already watched the trailer. So many good thing I hear and…
I am someone who needs a bunch of romance in a drama as well...but this drama, even without all the romance is great and super addicting. I recommend you to try it out ;)

a really really good movie...or good movies, as there are 4 of them. all a really great, heartwarming stories which also make you think a lot about animals.
