I watched Blossom in Adversity,n big fan of zjy, but tbh for me is very nonsense. the FL is way too talented in many department,too perfect. lot of coincidence plot to make her success,she open restaurant solely bcz her maid is masterchef?what are the odd? she never interested in food but have idea of the fruit snack n open cakery? lmao. she bought big house,manage big household,all success no failed? i thought she will be empress at the ending lol. i get it, independent ,but not realistic. I watch Double, LLG, and RON, Dream of splendor and i can say ths 4dramas is make sense in terms of women independency. They work towards a goal with little help along the way, sometimes they failed and raised again. n they focus with what ths women good at only. So I do love RoN bcs they dont make her overnight superwomen. Not watch minglan bcs too long. but I love LLG.

in regard abt why LYN hesitate to tell LSY her story w/ LJX, some ppl alr explain in detail. in short, LYN was ashamed how she acts in the past since is not a scholar proper young ladies should behave, thats why she never wanted to tell anyone even her trusted servants. it also icks her to think abt it so yeah. anyone has a flaw. That part i can understand. But I agree the character like Dad, mistress Qiao is very confusing. Mistress Qiao is willingly to kill off LYN out of petty jealousy, but they make it like she doesnt have the gut nor lack motives to kill LYN birth mother. like hah? killing LYN also doesnt make sense since Dad loves his 4th daughter no matter LYN exist or not, its proven in later ep,so yeah agree on writer make a bit confusing choices

LSY being no 1 in douban tell how popular and curated the appeal. thats what i felt.

If in this case like MJTY or even gossip girl ,where the 2nd cp story n chemistry is off the chart and stealing the spotlight, go ahead, exploit that. May the best couple wins. thats what i want. give us the interesting part alot, dont care it comes fr 1st,2nd, or even group dynamics.

i dont think in drama u need to be officially couple to have a lot screen time? nonsense. so by that, u meant bcs “ppl as cnetizen” getting uncomfortable with them as siblings acting so close thats why their screen time lesser now or what? also of cs we know romance is not all, but its 26 ep out of 40 and the romance not start yet? no wonder ppl get agitate alr, is slow compare others, not even start abt bunch of other issue in drama need to resolve, it feels dragged.
