For anyone who hesitate to watch FOF, this is from my humble opinion : I LOVEEEE ITT🖤🖤lil too much, why?
1. If you like Untamed X Journey to the West X I am Nobody X Scooby Doo, u will love this! FOF is like the grandkids I never know I need & immediately brings back so manyyy good memories of whyyy I love Cdrama since kids. it circle back my cdrama journey to the 90’s 2000’s when I watch Journey to the west as a kids on TV📺. The variety of demon we encounter, the banter, the comedic of FOF squad, their ups down the bonding, its remind me so muchh in JTTW in FOF way. The beauty in FOF is in their “JOURNEY” , not the end of the journey. so people who said its too slow, they hoping for end of journey where the mystery solved quickly n move to another task, but FOF is not like that! is one journey but with manyy flavour, so we ride in non serious for heavy big responsibility gotta solved,its the only way to make it right? can u imagine Monkey King sq for big mission to the west but all seriousness no comedy no break no laziness?
2. It reminds me Untamed cz the cultivation and the murder/demon mystery. Zhou Yan’s comedic teasing n the lil kid scaredy cat remind me so much the band of TU when they studies in Gusu n spend day by day teasing Lanzhan n Gusu’s rules. arghh the angst everytime remember TU hahahahha.
3. in Fof they also add some anime entrance for heroes/anti superheroes when making introduction, it is sooo I am Nobodyy whichh one of superrr superrr favorite shows!! the rocks youthful music everytime Bureau squad show off their skill is so similiar aaa love it!
all in one, FOF surprise me that this show take this route. the unseriousness and the serious of this drama make FOF REALLY UNIQUE!! compare to other drama out there esp THIS YEAR with all the drought in our c-land.
if your looking for tight, serious, no nonsense kinda drama, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU.
But, if you are thirsty for ooze, quirky, nonsense demon, weird mythical creatures,laughing at stupid stuff, jumping for super cool demon skill, hype up for antiheroes making a bang, YEAH MAN I GOT U. THIS DRAMA IS FOR YOU ✌🏻🥰🥰✌🏻🤣

OMG! finally my twins! i love this demon quirky squad just go hunting demon everywhere n doesnt take it too seriously, it hit right in my heart! its so old school n sweet argh, its like Journey to the West-Untamed-I am Nobody-Buffy-Scooby Doo vibe all mixed together! sometimes we just want a good laughed drama, the banter,the F good lookin great demon,the lovers, friendship, and a sweet journey. in FOF it does make sense how Zhou Yan take in (i would call it steady okay not slow) talk, it shown his wisdom and calm towards everything that could come since he alr knows how to counter attack everything beyond measure. In MJTY, the 2 ladies killer and the 2 brother talks in very very very slow motion, that I admit. esp shangguan? lmaooo. It gets better in FOF, a lot.
the slow mo Im a bit wanting to go is the camera directing towards character face, sometimes its too slow and keep reappearing. hopefully they can turn down this
