i watched many period family drama, n i catch that when they call 1st sister (da xiao jie), 2nd (er xiao jie), n so on, the sisters ‘doesnt’ actually mean sister from same father. cousins also sister. they put every girl in sisterly birth order.

so im bit confused with Rong sisters
they have 6 sisters + 1 cousins (the one not have Rong surname)
1. shan bao, 4th sis, wanwan from 1st son
2.2nd sis, 1 unknown sister rarely shown, useless son from 1st son n concubine
3.yunshu from 2nd son (hence she is cousins of shanbao etc)
4.the cousin who doesnt hold Rong surname, she doesnt count as Rong sister is it? but i remember they introduce her as 3rd sister? but howbout Yunxi’s blood sister? or this cousin never been included in “Rong Sister?” cause now there is 7 female in Rong house but they only count till 6 sisters.

Just take Yang Zi, her billing must be the same in term of maximum budget 1 actor can get isnt it? but her xianxia drama has great costume n good cgi .

esp in Xianxia, eyes,facial expression, microo facial expressions is need cz xianxia story usually very complex with many layers n many story (esp if u have been in 3life 300years n so on lol).

the story seems really compelling thoo hopefully his acting can step up.

but isn”t Chinese goverment already put out rules for actor/artist payment fee, there is maximum budget for it? government put that to ensure all small actor/crew sets get paid, incase drama overbudgetting to the main lead / top billing. so thats why in S class dramas, we get expensive actors,great costume, great sets, n great/good cgi, spread throughout. So however expensive YY is, is “same price” with other most expensive actors fee like Dilraba, etc. 🤔
