that's fair and why i asked for some convincing, i normally don't complain if things don't go the way i expect for a story but i can say, i tend to give that grace when it's an original story.

and it's not like it always happens, i was able to put up with the double, blossoms of power, prisoner of beauty and a few other dramas but for some reason, this one is just getting to me and i don't know why.

if i could put a finger on why, i think i could get past it. it also helps when it's more of a surprise that the change happens. i'm mainly on twt, so i just might need to mute the tag/show name/characters, give it a few days to let the episodes pile up and then just watch

i don't need to bet and i get logically why things are changed for different mediums but in this case, its more of a turn off when i normally don't have that issue. i might have some dislikes but not enough to put me off watching the drama or even needing to comment about it

so, i hate novel change just for some more drama, tears or sadness for sadness sake. they already did this with the one friend, who in the novel lived and had a happy life, i've seen some previews, things coming out such as zhao ling having to kill a lose friend, losing his support base and etc.

i don't MIND if shows have this type of plot line, i really don't....when it's an original...script, so i'm enjoying show, im enjoying the plot of what i know of it but im just not down with all of the changes

3. Her next to possibly be are drama is tiger sniffs the rose which isn’t a reborn drama
4. Meaning she’s only done two rebirth dramas in the grand scheme of things
5. If you check out her profile she has 2 modern dramas that are supposed to come out, no rebirth
6. I’d say given her overall filmography, having 2 rebirth dramas doesn’t mean she’s only getting one type of script

tbf, even if xihe is all of those, i think wanyao is more emotional so ppl will be able to give her more grace. people love the wanning(?) from the double and i could see it leaning more that way. people didn't give xihe grace because she was also cold while having those traits.
