I haven't heard anything. The writer just passed away last year so we probably are not gonna see it anytime soon. This one is the closest to a remade since the 2011 one. But this one mainly focus on these two isekai character.
I love Princess Pearl and its due for a remake. They should really remake one that follow the original from season 1 to 2. For this one, its quite fun to watch with the whole isakai things.

Does anyone know how old was Dou Zhao and her sister Ming? Was Zhao 12 or 15 years old at the beginning? In episode 3, it says 3 years later. Wouldnt that make her sister much younger than her maybe Ming should still be a child or preteen. Can someone clarify?
I haven't seen a great drama in a long time. Honestly I haven't seen a lot of Liu Yuning drama only a bit of Long Ballad which I didn't get pass episode 3 but this one definitely got me turning into a fan. I love the cast 😍 💕 and i hope to see them again in another drama. I wish they have a prequel to this one because it would've been great to see them before they started the mission. And also hoping we'll get another Liu Yuning and Liu Shishi pairing in future drama together. I love power couple and they are as great as Fuyao and Wuji.
I watched Ruyi Pavilion before I watched this one. When it was airing i have my doubts so i didnt watch it then but im glad I watched it now so i can compare it. In Ruyi Pavilion, I felt like they put too much make-ups on the female lead makes her looks so skinny and sick. And also her character as Furong is not as likable as Yunxi. Yunxi has lighter natural makeup and she was beautiful especially during both her wedding scenes. And her character is more realistic. Anyways about the two endings, in my opinion they were both sad but satisfying. In the supposedly happy one i think he just misses her too much and sees her kinda still being there with him because she just appeared all of suden when she wasn't really there before. There also isn't any real sign that specify that she did really survive and came back. In the earlier scenes of episode 48, Qishao was the last person with her and he already hinted us when he was the cliff that he accomplished her goals and hope they will meet again in another life. Well anyways everyone has their own interpretation of the endings. For me, its bittersweetness. Im always in for female lead sacrificing kinda drama so i like this one.
Love this drama!!! I wanted to watch it again. Last time I was on viki they were at 95% sub but now I can't find it anymore. I hope they didn't delete it. Fan subber worked really hard for it. T_T
