can't bring myself to finish it 😂 I started another drama in the meantime called Love in the clouds. I quite like the main actor, but the story is so different. the female lead it's not like the one here but still an independent, strong one as well. it is always like this when I find a very good drama. I can't wait to finish it and then when I do, I regret doing it. I need to find another similar drama. i just loved the whole plot with her being so independent, her cooking skills, she's so cool. she saved him and then joined him in the battle. it was and will be one of my favourite dramas. I hope they do these kinds of dramas more often. such a joy

yes, me too. I got attached to all of those people, their friends, the slaughtering pig squad as well. I feel everybody was rightly picked for this drama. I haven't finished it yet, I have like 5 episodes left. I feel so empty already.

I don't really know why people are hating so much on this drama. I recently started watching Chinese drama again and I saw this on Netflix and caught my attention. I also felt so sad for her and I wish she could reach out to her friends that could help her, but not everybody is that strong, so I guess this is the message that the drama wanted to convey.
Furthermore, I feel like if she didn't die, everything would not be so tragic and all of them could be together.
I just finished this drama today, so I am going to write this because my memory is still fresh. I really like this slow burning romance drama. It is a slice of life kind of drama, so if you are looking for a romcom fluffy drama, this is not for you.
No one warned me it is going to be a TEARJERKER drama, I usually avoid seeing sad dramas as life is already depressing, but this one really hit me hard. I did enjoy it, I think it portrayed some feelings very well and how the decisions you make lead to good or bad consequences.
It is not a totally sad drama as the main leads do end up together after so many years (episode 20-21), but I did not really expect that plot twist where Yi Fei would be dead, and when she meets with Ying Zi in the beginning of the drama, it was in fact, Ying Zi imagination of her.
I cried a lot during the drama, especially towards the end. So I am warning you, if you want a good drama, WATCH THIS but prepare some boxes of tissues, because it is not your typical kind of drama, it gets pretty hard later.
