What a way to end the series. Seems like many of us find it a bit too cliched, and I agree. But at the same time I did not expect anything different. Its a cheerful drama after all. The dark "suspenseful stuff" was really all part of the "plan" of Ibuki at the end of the day.
I dont think we should dismiss the ending though. I think online bullying on social networks are a big thing not just in Japan but all around the world. And for this drama to remind teenagers to "think" before posting anything or saying anything to others is a timely reminder for us all, whether grown up or not, to let our heads do the thinking rather than our hands.
Our spontaneous and instant posts here criticizing how "cliched" the ending of this drama is - believe it or not - is precisely what this drama taught us not to do over those 10 episodes we just watched.
What I can only say is: before we post anything, Lets Think.
This is really the only jdrama i've been hooked onto recently. Episode 5 so far and im dying to watch the rest of the episodes. Really worth watching for those who are wondering, literally a back-to-basics drama and doing what the Japanese do best
JIN season 1 and 2 is without a doubt one of the best dramas I've ever watched. Everything about it was perfectly executed. You need to watch JIN 1 in order to understand 2, but don't even hesitate. Just watch both. You won't regret. 10/10
Most drama endings feel rushed, but there was something very satisfying and special about this one. ofc, only commenting on the ending doesn't do justice to this brilliant drama so go watch this if you haven't already!
This was surprisingly good. Had a solid story and the acting was good aswell. Actually finding this better than the more recent uso no sensou also featuring kusanagi
Okay the bromance between kame and yamapi was worth 8.5 itself, and actually eclipsed the relationship between kame and fumino lol. Also the drama itself was pretty funny and intelligent at times. Definitely worth watching
I have to say the first 100 or so episodes were pretty fantastic, it had me glued to my seat for hours and hours. After that there was a slight dip in quality - maybe it's because i did not find the side stories interesting at all. It then goes back up to around 8.5 towards the last 2 weeks.
tbh i was looking forward to this movie, with the great cast and all that, but turned out to be quite disappointing :/ it tries too hard to be deep in certain moments and just plain confusing in others
This series is in contention to be my favourite drama of all time. it's such a well rounded package, with a great story, great acting, a delicate balance of comedy and seriousness.
Again, like many others who have watched drama, this is most definitely the best drama I have ever watched. period. Such a beautifully crafted story with some of the best acting found in any jp drama, I think I can recommend this drama to anyone, absolutely anyone. You will not regret.
