Yeah, there's so much to regret about LSS's character development even as YXW because of those cuts😔 I said it before, this is the one drama I'd gladly watch and rewatch as a 60-ep story if they'd do justice to her character😅 she was going to be a goddess in the end, so why not show her path towards that too together with TTJ's?😮💨

Just to drop my two cents about YXW meddling in XL's fate: I suddenly thought about what she said during the tower scene: "Why should I gamble the fate of all living beings in the extremely faint hope that there is goodness in the Devil God?" I think even if TTJ showed he wasn't going to harm XL, YXW as LSS, knowing the DG's or the evil bone's influence couldn't risk the chance, so she had to save XL. YXW as YXW saw saving XL as loyalty to Sheng Kingdom, and preserving even a little of the kingdom she was born into. Sure, it was treason against TTJ, but it was in her nature to save people.
About LSS first not accepting CJM's love and then agreeing to marry him, I think she felt it was useless to fight against her feelings for CJM because no matter how she concentrated in following the heartless way, her feelings for him now outweighed her mission to ascend. Besides, by then she had the evil bone, which she felt fairly confident in controlling its dark influence, so nothing else was stopping her from following her emotions this time.
But yeah, go rewatch🤣🤣🤣 I'm sorry for disturbing🤣 I love LSS's character too actually, equally with TTJ's, so I won't shut up about it.
