I think the arranged marriage had to happen to consolidate the partnership bw Hong and Baek, tho it's I think more on the Baek that the advantage is in, given realSE's scandal (but I think the grandpa has more, hence why would there be a retainer (the fisherman) for dead bodies? (Sadly I think the fisherman has worked too long under the grandpa doing the same work, that's why he's familiar with the Baeks)
I also think fatherBaek is blissfully unaware of anything and stupidly thinks the NDA is only about the arranged marriage fiasco, that's why in my head Chariman Hong said "you b*tch" when father Baek demanded repayment for the 3yrs ago incident.😆 he has been giving spoiled child vibes all throughout🤣🤣🤣

As for fakeBSE being the grandpa's son, I thought so too, because of the novel. But because of the way the drama adapted the story, I'm not sure until the man said to the boy, "Did yoi wonder why I never gave you a name?"
With regards to FL stepfather being the master...if you're talking mastermind of everything, like HJ's kidnapping and such, I think not. I think he has another plan to get back at Baek family for ...something. as for the Master real BSE was texting with, it really is PDJ, as revealed in ep9. He matches the Master's profile: computer/hacking skills/ knowledge✅️ desire to make BSE hurt✅️
The fisherman.... now I think he was originally in the employ of the grandpa as a disposer of "shit".. maybe grandpa tried to dispose of baby fakeBSE but the fisherman took pity on him? I don't think grandpa really cared about fakeBSE enough to ask him to take care of an illegitimate son, more like "take care"😏😏.. but I believe in the fisherman's kind heart for him to have taken fake BSE as his own.
