Romance all around at the Qixi Festival!!! 🥰 The scenes here still give me Moon Lovers vibes, especially that mask scene.

If viewers catch all the foreshadowing in that goddess and Devil God dance, they really wouldn't be surprised at all by this drama's ending. Of course it took me some number of rewatches to pick up on those... But really, can't fault a girl for wishing for an alternate ending. RIGHT, YOUKU?!?

Poor XL, betrayed by his own wife. That saying about how a woman's misfortune is her husband is also vice versa, especially in his case.

Oh, but that action sequence is well-choreographed. 🤩

YBC thinks that it's a better option to live in her sister's husband's home, and receive benefits from her sister's husband, than go back to her own husband or go back to her childhood home. Logic does not logic. 🤷‍♀️ But maybe I'm just missing some cultural nuances from this one.

It is nice to end though on a reminder of PR and TTJ's sibling vibes🤣

Of course PR and my boy YQY should have their own -ahem- time🤣

But yeah, the lines dropped here are some of the oft-quoted and best lines in the drama.

It is interesting to note though that before reading them, seeing LSS's letters makes TTJ jump right into suspicions that those are notes to XL--when in fact it was notes to him. 😌 Poor baby is soooo suspicious--but then again, so is she.

The verbal sparring between TTJ and YBC is quite satisfying to watch.

Xiao Shunyaooooo🥺🥺🥺 Really, I couldn't hate TTML totally because it's XSY😅😅😅 but... yeah, TTML is what TTJ could have been without LSS's influence.
