Sadly, no season 2. The producers planned for one, but because of changes in c-ent rules (limiting episodes, having season 2 around 6mos/1year after the first --refer to Lost You Forever's case) they condensed the story into just 1 season. Hence the somewhat unsatisfying immortal arc😅 but hey, it doesn't hurt to shout at YOUKU to GIVE US SPECIAL EPISODES!!!🤣🤣🤣🚩🚩🚩🚩 TTJ and LSS and their little one deserve to meet!!!!🤣

Clarification: I meant TTJ went back to LSS in the dream *in time- just when LSS woke up* in ep39 after carving his name in the tomb.. the TTJ in the tomb that LSS sees is a projection that she also conjured up (at this point, my theory is she has powers to see in the past) that's why she saw TTJ carving..
Haha yeah I love rewatching this drama too, especially when you find little bits of foreshadowing here and there that you might have missed the first time around. Heads up tho that the novel is different from the drama as it is more LSS centric than TTJ, and novelTTJ is very different from dramaTTJ😊

I think, when TTJ carved his name in the tomb, that was when he had just left LSS in the dream in ep39, the one where he said he's going to do another useless thing (smth like that). And he went back in time to talk to LSS in the dream for the last time.
LSS came to the tomb sometime after the destruction of the All-in-distress way (no definite time in the drama, prob after the Scale releases her -my theory- tho in the novel, it says she visited the tomb 100 years later). She's still wearing her last wedding dress😭 coz that's the last thing (earthly? Mortally? Just not the goddess robes) she wore before the Scale took her away.

I myself couldn't face costume or cdramas after TTEOTM😅 (except for Love is Sweet since it was a highly recommended "sequel" by Moonies here)... so I switched to the lighter kdramas.😅 Perfect Marriage Revenge got me out of my drama pothole... and then some other romcoms like The Beauty Inside.. I suggest you pick something light after this angsty drama😄 like candy after a bitter medicine😆
