Amazing drama. Very intelligent, and the actors were all brilliant. Ignore the negative comments here and try it out for yourself.. People complain without giving it a fair shot smh
Don’t get me wrong, this was by no means perfect and had a lot of issues, but at the core it had a good heart…
Fair enough, and your criticisms are definitely valid. For me personally, I think this would have been better in a 16 episode format, where the ending was not so abrupt and the FL's sister plot was delved into more. The side characters could have taken a bigger role as some of them were really endearing. Also, the relationship of the ML and his sister needed more background. But having said that, I enjoyed it still. But I agree, there were things I would have done differently.
With regards to the rating quite frankly, I don't think that 5 stars is a bad rating. It means there were a fair share of things you liked as well. I was mostly referring to 1 or 2 stars ratings. Those are the ones which seem a bit exaggerated to me.

Exactly!! I love cdramas too and I'm really getting into them but I can't complain and criticise cliches of one, but completely ignore them on the other. All the recent Chinese dramas have all been filled with cliches, which I don't really mind to be honest. My complaint is that half the people who are giving 10 stars to good, average Chinese romcoms, are giving 1/2 stars to shows like Bon Apetite Your Majesty or Dynamite Kiss. Let's be for real now. Giving an extreme low rating is vindictive. I have never given 1 star to a show, even those I really despised because at the end of the day, I always find redeeming qualities.
And I understand that people will rate whatever they want to rate, but I just wish people were more objective and held the same standards for all shows, because at the end of the day it takes a lot of work to produce a drama, and they deserve to be judged fairly and honestly.
it’s wild that people wanted something ground breaking from a rich man/poor woman office romance.. i think for…
Don’t get me wrong, this was by no means perfect and had a lot of issues, but at the core it had a good heart and was entertaining. What annoys me is that people are rating this few stars, and then give 10 stars to Chinese dramas which have the same number of cliches. I just don’t get it. Chinese and Korean dramas are not held to the same standards and it’s unfair.
Then my comment was not addressed towards you since you are paying and thus supporting the show. I was talking about people who pirate the show through weird links online.
Then you can try watching something else alongside it :) In any case, most Korean dramas release only 2 episodes a week and people still wait. Imagine working so hard on something and people end up stealing it. It's not ok.
agree with you. The last K-dramas are very disappointing. Spent more time rewatching oldest K-dramas or watching…
Hmm, I get what you're saying. I always assumed that movies weren't suggested to me because I prefer long form content. To be fair, I don't think it's a Korean problem either. I feel like since covid, movies production has decreased even in the US and UK. All the movies which come out all seem so mediocre and blah. Companies prefer to invest in long form content nowadays. I might be wrong though.
