I have to agree with you. The characters still feel two-dimensional. We're almost done and I still feel like I barely know them. Based on Episode 1, I thought it had serious potential. But now, I find it to be incredible mediocre. I cannot find one thing I really love about this. Everything is just meh.
Can only speak for myself..my rating was 8 during the first 6 episodes or so but I lowered it to 7.5. The story feels like it’s going nowhere and there is minimal character development. I was also hoping they would work on their relationship more, but more attention seemed to be given to the SML. Last few episodes have been somewhat disappointing to me.

Regardless, dramas still needs to be somewhat realistic. It makes zero sense for her to stop working because there is literally no logic behind that decision.

Final thoughts: I liked the female lead a lot, she had a very likeable personality and easy to relate to. One thing which was annoying about her was the constant yelling to speak. That's a huge pet peeve of mine. It legit hurt my ears.
The male lead was more in love with the idea of her and the history they shared. But sometimes long history should not equate to long future. He was unnecessarily rude to her for no reason but he became the sweetest person when he met her best friend. I'm sorry, you shouldn't be kind to only the people you find attractive. It goes without saying. As adults, I did not feel they had chemistry. She did however have chemistry with the SML who had such a golden retriever energy, I loved him. I don't usually root for the SML, in fact I've only done it once before in True Beauty, and now in this drama. They should have ended together and I will die on that hill.
As for her best friend, where do I even start? Girl got used to getting any man she wanted but somehow ended up falling in love with her best friend's first love and kept meeting him behind her back. Girl code and trust severely broken and for me that is grounds for ending that friendship. She got off easy and did not deserve such quick forgiveness.
Overall, considering this drama is over 10 years old, it was still enjoyable but would have liked for them to go in a different direction.
They really need to start banning some people here. And all the fake accounts with zero watches need to go.
I love blackpink but haven’t watched too much from Jisoo. I only watched that zombie drama and was not that impressed, however I am willing to give this a shot. No point in people criticising before the show is even out yet.
