Oh my gosh the way all these episodes are ending will be the death of me. Please, please I hope they keep it up. I've been let down too many times this month!
I agree entirely; they tried too hard to add too many additional plots into an already shortened format. There…
It’s so frustrating because at its core there’s a beautiful story but it’s been so heavily diluted by a million other things that it just feels like it lost all flavor and soul. Oh well. This month has not been a good new dramas month.
When creators choose to opt for 12-episode formats, as a consequence, they need to condense the story more. In this case, having the focus be on an additional 2 couples further to the main couple of the story is not a smart idea. While I did enjoy this, it just dawned on me that this drama is ending this week and I still feel like I do not know the essence of the characters, and I feel like I barely had any time to connect with them.
Writers need to decide, 12 episode formats, or more liberty to delve into sub-plots. Can't have both.
respecting grandmas beliefsbut dang she is annoying
Fair, although a relatives beliefs should not stream in other peoples' personal choices in life. At that point, it becomes a form of control and not love.
Why are the reviews so negative? I just started this drama, and it's not THAT BAD....So far, I'm just pissed at…
It’s not bad at all, but it’s not 8.3 level rating either. I personally would have loved it if I was just starting to get into kdramas but at this point, it seems incredibly overdone. I’m at about where you’re at and it is starting to feel a bit repetitive at the moment.

Yep, exactly. That is very interesting. I am neither Korean nor Japanese but my first degree is in global history and international relations. I always took a personal interest towards the cruelty some nations have faced, Korea being one of them. Koreans have every right to still feel resentment. It is completely justified.
Nobody should be held accountable for the sins of their ancestors, though it gets complicated if they continue…
To be completely fair, I was quite shocked when I was in Japan and did a few historical tours. The atrocities that Japan has committed is still something which they do not speak about, even when asked about them. I found it quite disappointing. For me, it was a huge contrast because a few weeks earlier I was in Korea and we were told the full extend of what Koreans went through.
