Controversy aside..currently on episode 5 and I have a genuine question.. Are we supposed to like the ML? Current summary of events: unhappy in marriage and unable to communicate with each other, however too scared (and greedy) to step away, AND was thrilled when he found out his wife has a terminal disease. Beyond despicable. Yet he comes to her rescue on random occasions. Is this man that fickle???

imo, the makers should have either released all of it at once, or should have made the first two eps really strong.…
with a total of only 8 episodes, there is no reason to pick up the pace on the 5th one.

I KNOW. I started it over the weekend right before the news. Just my luck I guess. :( Been tempted to drop, especially since I'm kind of disappointed with the show. There was so much hype around it, but it's just meh. But I just hate not finishing shows. I finish even the ones I really hate. We'll see.

if it helps in any way, I started this show a couple of days before the news came out, and after watching five episodes so far I don’t get the hype. It’s just okay so far.

Can't really comment on this show, as I'm waiting for more episodes to come out before I start it. I think MDL should only allow ratings after the entire season is out. Rating with only two episodes out is silly.
