So I stumbled upon this while scrolling Gagaoolala. It was in the lesbian category and I thought huh cool why not watch it. I normally only watch BL and I've been meaning to watch something GL. So I read the synopsis (which is different than the one on here) and clicked play. It didn't take me too long to realize that that was a terrible, awful mistake, but I kept watching because I wanted to see it through the end. All I can say is I commend the actresses for taking part in this, especially Yashima she had to go through some insane emotions playing that character.
According to my math, the actors were 15 and 26 when this was filmed?? So weird to pair a child with a much older adult. Granted Alfred looks much younger than he is, but still. Looking forward to the series tho
Watched the first episode, not much to say besides cute so far! Lukchup is such a cutie. Him and Ram have good visual chemistry. I hope it doesn't take too long for them to get together. I also hope this series will be well-written enough to be engaging throughout the 40-min runtime and not drag. From the trailer it seems the main conflict is the female villain trying to get in the way, not my favorite trope but we'll see how it turns out I suppose.
trying to get through the first ep now, that unnatural laugh track every five seconds is making it hard to watch
okay updating to say I finished ep 1 and I like it. I haven't watched a thai sitcom style show like this before so it was bit to get used to the differences from my usual dramas, but I'm interested in continuing it. The acting is good and it has quite a few funny moments lol
P'Por is simply despicable, everything about him makes me want to puke. I'm super invested in the main couple…
Yeah this definitely isn't one of the series where a side couple steals the show lol. I find myself skipping most of the BossToy scenes tbh. I feel like Nadia and the barista guy have potential to be cute.
I feel like this will be pretty good, but I'm worried about how much story can be covered in only 20 minutes and 8 episodes. Not much happened in the first ep, wish it was longer.
I agree - and I really like how it's not college students. The gay uncles are a nice touch, and they're actually…
Yes! The uncles are hilarious. This series is very refreshing to me since it shows more sophisticated love stories of people with careers and at different stages of life.
I'm on episode 2 and so far I'm liking it much more than expected. The production and everything feels nice and high quality, the acting is pretty good, and the humor is on point. I find myself smiling most of the time haha
I'm confused why is there so much talk about who killed Lily? Or about why would someone want to kill her? I thought we all saw and acknowledged that she clearly drowned with like eight witnesses standing around. I don't understand this point.
bruh some of the characters actions make absolutely no sense. And there's kind of a nonchalant attitude towards death that bugs me lmao. This has been an engaging watch so far though.
Going to say overall I enjoyed watching the episode. One complaint is that the main character is so unemotional (ig that's the right word?). Like it was kinda weird in the start how he didn't say anything to his friend or even hug his mom goodbye. And he has a blank expression most of the time, he just has a depressed vibe, idk if his character is meant to be cold or something or if the acting is a bit off. But this makes it a bit harder to connect with him.
I'm not really vibing with the glasses guy, and I don't feel any chemistry between him and the main. I'm already rooting for the eventual second guy lol. I think it's best to consider a show without comparing it to other ones or going off of ratings so to not cloud judgement. Don't let negative comments casue you to not give something a shot.
It wasn't perfect of course, but good enough, I like the music too. I'm interested to see the next episodes. Also side note Pond is so cute! My eyes are blessed every time he's on screen.
