just finished the first episode, extremely weird premise but it's interesting so I want to keep watching. Can we talk abt why is Hai Yuan so chill about someone literally coming back from the dead?? I would freak out lol. Also he looks quite similar to Hongjoong from Ateez, so handsome
the cinematography is quite beautiful. they really put care into crafting a lot of the shots and visuals. I feel like the show is carried by the natural chemistry of minase and hirukawa. they're so cute together, you can't help but root for them. I enjoyed seeing the progression of their relationship and understanding of each other.
Prospective watchers please ignore the low rating(7.7 at this time), I believe this show is worth a watch so far . You definitely have to suspend disbelief when starting this (the cgi penguins were so bad lmao) but once it gets going I enjoyed it. This drama has a silly unique story with fantasy elements and comedy, so if you like that I recommend. It definitely feels like a breath of fresh air to me compared to the usual BL with a high school setting.
I'm also glad some newbie actors are getting a chance to shine in this. Junior is super cute and charismatic, I can foresee him having a successful career. I also love the ghost girl character lol. I like how the personalities of the main leads are polar opposite. Junior is so blunt so it helps keep things moving along when Sun is so shy and reserved. I hope this theme continues bc one of my pet peeves is when conflict is stretched out for episodes just because of a misunderstanding and the characters won't talk to each other.
Short and sweet, very cute and overall heartwarming. The cinematography is pretty good as well, a lot of the shots looked really nice. There's not a ton of depth here, which is to be expected as it's only an hour long but I enjoyed it as I've been trying to watch more wlw content. I liked that they handled the subject in a realistic way and I also enjoyed seeing a peak into deaf culture.
Is Idol Romance stepping up their game? The premise for this is extremely interesting and unique. I enjoyed the first two eps, hopefully it can continue well. Also side note the child actor is so cute
I agree with other comments stating the plot was a bit too convoluted to take seriously. It didn't evoke any strong emotion from me by the end. And the second half isn't very intriguing. You're just watching events unfold that you already know will happen. The main character's acting was great. The cinematography and way certain shots were set up was also quite interesting.
I love silly little shows. The first episode was enjoyable to me and I laughed a few times. I will be tuning in. The plot combines quite a few usual BL elements to somehow be generic yet unique at the same time.
I'm not a fan of the accidental kiss trope that we saw will happen in ep 2 but I still have faith.
The first episode was nice. I'm glad they're following the manga closely, it's fun to see the same scenes play out on screen. I can see this becoming popular :)
it's so absurd and kind of cringe (ofc it will be when watching a human acting like a cat lol) but it's harmless and cute. I can see myself watching the rest of the episodes. Also Gap's face is handsome enough for me to take my mind off his bad hair extensions
Aww I think some commenters are too critical. The show is just a cute watch not meant to be ground-breaking cinema. But in this recent episode 5, it's safe to say pretty much nothing happened lol. Weakest episode so far, just the two groups staring at each other across the club for 80% of it, I was so antsy for someone to actually do something by the end.
I thought maybe Ram is slightly realizing his feelings since he felt jealous, but then he didn't really end up saying much when he dragged out Lukchup (I was silly hoping for a confession, wonder when we will finally get one?) . I also wonder when we will get development of Sky and Phaitong since there is obviously something meant to happen there. Also, am I the only one who thinks Sky is super good-looking?? I kind of want him to be a main lead in another show lol.
The beginning was kind of bad - too ridiculous and trying too hard. Where the series shines is in the character…
Well, it was the first episode. Can't analyze everything just yet. I was also a bit worried at the beginning of the ep, but by the end I felt it def improved to me. The budget really shows in the filmography, it felt really movie-quality. One thing slightly bothering me is some of the fight sound effects sounding a bit too wacky/unrealistic haha
