my theory about the safe zone is that ki joo's uncle was there during the car crash when bom's parents died and he made some kind of blood ritual or magic that protected young bom. so it activates when she's close to ki joo, someone of the same blood as the uncle.

also i believe kijoo's first visitor is bom cause she was most likely on a limbo after the crash but managed to live. it would make sense that she was the first visitor cause kijoo inherited the studio after his uncle died (during the crash while protecting bom probably). why there's no body of him i have no idea and is a mystery i hope they'll answer in the future

yes and i agree they probably won't make it into a whole love triangle. think she'd be more of a childhood friend that would play a larger role in the plot. i'm off to watch the latest episodes

i was talking about wrl's fiance in promo materials and sjz is also involved in their scenes. it seems wrl is against the engagement so there may not be ctual love triangle but i think 'slight romance' should be added in the tags at least

they're even setting up a love triangle based on the preview how can audience say there's no romance in this lol

i don't find him annoying personally. he does self-serving things that you'd expect from a political drama like this but he has "redeeming" qualities too that make the character complex. for ex. he treats ml like a brother and is very fond of him (looks genuine so far, but i'm sure training him aligns with his own motives too) as well as his relationships with people close to him like his sister (their bickering is entertaining to watch) and his wife (whom he cares about a lot)

i have so many questions after episode 5... but can i just say the main leads' chemistry is amazing, love their interactions and really looking forward to ml & fl's relationship development

ep 4 is so sad what the hell. every episode before started lighthearted and funny then made you cry at the end, but this one it's more sad/bittersweet all throughout. show can be serious and heavy when it wants to be 🤧
