I am reading the manhua waiting for Monday with the long ballad OST lol
I finished the manhua already. I'm so envious of you. If I can read them all over again I would. Personally, I like the storyline from both the drama AND the manhua. They did a pretty good job with the adaptation. Both are amazing. As I was reading, there are some moments I thought to myself, no way will China allow this into their storyline so I think that's why the drama scriptwriter changed certain parts.
Is it just me or do the men just get better looking every time one sees them? Of course there’s the obvious…
changge is gorgeous. Dilireba is really good looking and beautiful at the same time. I wish they ahd more scenes of her in grassland attire as a female.
I was reminiscing the times when a few of us were frustrated with changge and some of her decisions throughout the course of this show especially after the great Asun and She'er fight. Personally, I like that all the characters have flaws and are not perfect. (except for maybe Ashile Sun my man <3). If not, this drama would be so boring to watch.
And we had some great discussions about the rationale and justifications of her actions as the audience. Until ep 36, we definitely DEFINITELY saw everyone's growth and character progression.
I was rewatching the ep where lady jinse was ambushing the liuyan temple. And when her master asked her to leave and take the others, you can tell changge hesitated. If it was the old her, she would have disobeyed that order and continued fighting to save her master and defeat the wrongdo'ers because she always had very high confidence in her abilities to defend. But in this scene, you can see that split second she made the decision to follow through and get everyone to safety because she knows innocent lives are at stake and thats more important. And the fact that she went back to help her master after she got Du Ru Hui to safety is like the upgraded version of her old self. She still sticks to her beliefs but according to her tao. It's like the revelation of her tao is finally complete.
Well, unfortunately the story didn't mesh well with you. I suggest for you to drop it then? If you're already…
I am actually reading the manhua, about three quarters in. and yes the manhua is definitely amazing. I think the drama team has tried their best to incorporate the storyline. They could not get everything in and might have changed a few things probably because of duration of episodes, distortion of history and also censorship. Thank you for giving it a chance though. To have watched it is better than to not at all. =)
After watching 30 episodes, the manhua remains superior. The drama reads like a terribly written fan-fiction.…
