Like I mentioned she places no value to her own life so she doesn't care what happens to herself and is only thinking about how she can help others as much as possible before she died or is killed by her many enemies. You can say she's selfish and she doesn't think about the consequences but to be fair, I think that's how she's coping with all the tragic events that have happened to her. Just like in the beginning when she pushes away a'dao but he got her to open it and she eventually loves him like a brother, then was killed right in front of her. This incidences happened over and over again. I think she needs some time, guidance, and help to get her psyche back to where it was before.

I think you all are criticizing change way too much. Realistically, since her mom's death from the start, she has had no time to grief and process everything that's happened to her. And also she's growing up, she has never lived in the "real" world. She even mentioned that life for her is worse than death after everyone that she loves either betrayed/died/left her. So in her mind, she's doing whatever she can for justice. To help people because that's part of her character. I'm not saying that isn't a flaw but right now, she doesn't love herself or life enough to care about herself. And imagine someone not loving themselves, they cannot compute why other people would go the extra mile for themselves so she doesn't think that other people would get involve in her business. She is smart, intelligent, cunning, fearless and foolish, yes foolish too. Im sure and I hope that we see the progression of her character as the episodes go by. And I think the upcoming episodes we can see that CG is starting to care and worry about Sun.

I like how firm the ML is against the SFL. he only ever interacts with her to protect the FL.

i love how sweet and fluffy this drama is. The ML is so good looking and looks cold but is actually warm inside. FL seems a bit too innocent and naive at times but I can still tolerate it. I like how they resolve problems by talking and they don't keep it inside to fester. Does anyone know of any other dramas like this?

The icky factor not only comes from the fact she was involved in such a crime but like you said she was his big sister and she practically raised him since young. no way. he's better of with qiao na.

and I love how they both addressed the issue of him lying to her and not telling her whats going on. she didnt just roll over for him and made him work for it and they were being such dorks too. omg i have never seen another drama which addressed this.

I am so happy Bai Lu's character as a FL is smart and strong. when YS left her, she didnt become stupid but continued working and when she suspected stg was going on, she approached it smartly and also left YS and DL to handle things once she figured out they were trying to help her. she gave the space that YS wanted. Even if the reason for YS not letting her know whats happening was kinda stupid but I understand it was needed for the plot to move further.

To me, what makes this show worth watching and one of the best dramas ever even tho it's a romcom is not the skinship (although I can't deny it's a bonus) but because of the chemistry, the naturalness that the main leads exude and their comedic timing. I've said it before but I will say it again I could have never imagined Luo portraying such a character- charismatic, charming but a natural goofball as well. And Bai lu is just Bai lu. She aces every character I've seen her play so far. But the dynamic between these two in the show is just mind blowing. They captured the childhood friends turn lovers trope perfectly so it comes out as natural. Their facial expressions and nuances, those little things that we don't think are important add so much to their characters and chemistry. And I like that they're both goofballs. They're smart, aggressive and charismatic on their own when it comes to work but when they're both together they're such idiots ?

Exactly my thoughts! tbh, at this point I'm not really sure what Du Lei's role is in the drama. Because I feel like whatever he does won't really affect the main couple's relationship. I think it's because his character in the novel is much more significant. he was jiang jun's boss in the novel

I laughed out loud at all their scenes in ep 17 and 18. They're so funny. and I have never seen yun xi in such a character. It's such a nice surprise to see him as yuan shai. Their chemistry is so good. and I love the pacing of their romance. We can clearly see how they fall in love deeper and deeper. and bai lu is such a gem as always. she nails every character. I am so glad that her portrayal is not an annoying FL. NOW COMES THE WAITING GAME FOR NEXT WEEK.

I don't think anyone ships her with him. More like everyone sympathises with him and just wants him to be happy. Jiang Jun's and Yuan Shuai's affections for each other are just too strong that du lei seem just like a third wheel sometimes.
