I think because as viewers, we have the knowledge and insight about what's happening between all the POVs so we tend to get a little emotional for our beloved characters. But I'm sure, once we cool down, everyone can see that changge's decisions and actions are justified even if they're not the best.

This drama made me a wu lei stan for sure!!! I think the way ashile sun is protrayed might be one of the best male lead characters ever written in a drama. I agree with you. I think the romance they potray here is a slow burn and quite realistic. They each are growing in their own way. They don't have to stick to each other 24/7. Especially changge, she has a lot of growing up that she needs to do but ultimately, their destination is to each other. As of now, changge has not grown to love Sun yet, she has shown that she cares for him but love I think is still too soon. She has gone through many traumatic events over and over so I think she needs to find peace and healing within herself first before she notices the people around her.
While for Sun, he has known about who she actually is quite early on. So I think his feelings developed quicker. But I like that he's the strong, silent type. He does things for her silently and willingly. Anytime he's around her, I feel a sense of security for changge because he will protect her from harm 100%.
