dtf 8/16 episodes may have to drop this. i dont gaf about the second couple AT ALL. and was hoping for more angst? they're already in love by like episode 4. i was also hoping her tumour would matter more? but they seem to use it exclusively for tension and furthering other character's plots along. but the FL? she apparently doesn't seem to care that much about it.
just soooo bleh. so much potential.
also nitpicky maybe, but something that IMO really shows the true character of this show is the comedy music, or making light of other character's grief about Tak Dong Gyeong's imminent death.
it's like the show wants you to laugh at their exaggerated expressions and sadness, which is BIZARRE.
it just really flops in all of the highly emotional places where it should've been at its strongest. with this type of premise, i should have been ugly sobbing. instead, i am deeply frustrated.
