Anyone else think Dr. Do (the one who let Kang Joo's father die) is Seo Jeong's father? Seems like she's…
Your theory really fits with ep. 5. Maybe Dr. Do's son knows about Seo-Jeong and is now playing dumb, which explains why he's suddenly so interested in her and her past.
This article gets me so much...
me: *sees reviews for some drama* meh, I'm not gonna watch it
also me: *sees drama has time travel in it* gotta watch it fast
If the ending were different, it wouldn't be such an impactful movie. It's so unrealistic but they somehow made the whole situation realistic in a way. The ending with 'Don't be ill, mom' made me curl up and bawl for good 15 minutes (that never happens!).
If you were looking for a happy-go-lucky movie, this isn't it... There's even 'tragedy' in the tags. Except, it's totally not the tragedy I expected. 10/10 is my humble opinion, but others might think differently.
I cried at least 3 times... it makes me want to downgrade all 10s on my list to a 9 so it can get the top spot it deserves. Definitely a favorite... which is not an easy thing to say for me.
Okay not to be a buzz kill or anything but... why is this drama getting such high viewer ratings and so much praise?…
I second this whole comment. I think we're watching it for the reasons you already listed, eyecandy + people are thirsty for more rom-com. I didn't realize it but once you mentioned it, the drama really has no plot at all. I loved Reply 1997 and I love this drama too, so I guess it's just a matter of preference? There's no way for me to predict what's going to happen in the end, really -- so that's why I like it. There's no plot for me to mull over and predict. Just rom-com and lovey doveyness.
For a military drama, it's very much lighthearted. The action scenes are amazing, and the camerawork is very well thought out too. Can't wait for this week's episodes. (Joong Ki is precious eye candy, too!)
The last one is completely, 100%, effective, and I can say that for sure because it happened to me completely by accident. I accidentally got my friend to watch dramas and listen to kpop simply by talking about it - I never actually told her to check them out but she thought that what I was saying seemed so cool she had to check it out. And she did! At that time, I was in a total slump - but as soon as she mentioned watching one (I had already watched) we got into this fiery discussion that brought on the binge watching once again. It's magical.
It's great that this is a pre-filmed drama. There's so much more security in everything when it comes to dramas that aren't filmed on-the-spot. Plus, Onew's in this, it should be great!
