he is seriously amazing in Secret Love Affair! Watching it right now. An underrated actor definitely - he could have played his character completely straight like a lot of actors do, but he manages to convey a surprising amount of complexity and nuance in his performance way beyond what is written in the script. Looking forward to seeing more of his work!
