Ugh, why is it that EVERY Yang Zi film is SO GOOD!? First, the oath of love then Immortal samara, I find that every summer I'm catching up and waiting for her dramas to air. In the beginning I was shipping Tu Shan Jing for a few episodes until the nine headed demon has my heart but Currently on ep 18 and lowkey, why am I shipping her and Cang Xuan?! It's like the more on screen time with whichever lead, I just fall for lol I find that their relationship is more than just cousins???
I noticed in that cast, Cang Xuan also plays a different role named Zhuan Xu... It makes me wonder if later on he is not XY's brother... hence the reason in the trailer when he says he likes her and also falls for her. In the trailer, when they were young she says to marry him then they can always be together but recalling ep. 1, that never happens.. so why is it in the trailer?
I can't stop thinking about how much YanDan suffered by being so selfless, but her true pain was being in love with YingYuan which was 'wrong'. She never got the truth from him and misunderstandings piled on top of each other. Even though at one point I just wished YY could tell her the truth and I feel like so much could be cleared in the air BUT I forget to stand in his pov, that he rather never let her know his true feelings because it is the only way to keep her alive.
Should I watch it? I love the leads..but I read a few comments saying it is pretty much similar to Ashes of Love...so…
I say you give it a try! Personally, love it and have been waiting for new episodes to come out, and honestly speaking, the first two episodes might seem to drag but it picks up fast. Before you know it, you'll be hooked :)

Good point! It was also said in ep 1 that one was born weak aka the twin sister...so maybe YanDan is the sole descendant that can use her true form to heal
I have been holding off my comment since there is so much doing on in the drama so far but like many others, I have been waiting for this to come how since the trailer that released 9 months ago! For those who think YanDan is immature or stupid, I'm not sure what kind of drama you're into but she is very smart and it is even justified by YingYuan in the early episodes that she has so much potential. For those who thinks the drama is dragging, I have never watched another that has so much going on within 10 episodes! Please give it a try before hating! The main leads is naturally so talents and I don't expect any less as they really are some of the best actors out there, making the drama so watch worthy Only 10 episodes in and I think I like it better than Ashes of Love....!
